One of my neighbors moved so they gave my family their chickens. Then my dad promised me that we would get another chick in the spring. I fell in love with Ayam cemanies but the website I was planning to buy them from had a minimum of 3 chicks per ship, so I convinced my dad to get three more chicks in the spring. Before spring came the chickens died so we got six more. Now I was gonna get four in the spring. One of the chicks died. Now I was gonna get five. Then when picking up chick feed my mom saw some tiny baby silkies for sale that were being trampled on by the bigger breeds so we got five more chicks…. We’re still getting five more chicks in the spring. 💀

Hi friend! can i make a suggestion to help provide your piggies a healthy lifestyle. Please refrain from Carefresh bedding, the paper bedding has lots of little dust particles that can cause a very large vet bill visit. They can get URI (Upper respiratory infections) very easily. I would suggest using fleece. I personally use Baby blankets from dollar stores. they are pill free and work great. easy to clean

Using pliers to pinch the barb on the hook flat is a huge help, that is if it’s through the lip. If the fish swallows the hook to any extent, pliers are the way to go!
