Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines is one the most popular destinations for diving. It is particularly famous for huge numbers of sardines just offshore and sea turtles. There are many great beaches nearby with beautiful corals easily accessible by swimming from the shore.

A few short moments you get while swimming with whale sharks in the Phillippines. The sharks are wild but bait fish is thrown into the water to attract them. There are a lot of people lining up for this attraction. Waiting sometimes takes more than 3 hours, so I came at 4 am, and was in the water by 7:00. Snorkeling for 30 minutes costs $9.
