Kingface FX - "Hans" mask review
KingfaceFX Masks (Instagram: kingface_fx) or ebay seller Milan Toy Company, Ltd. - (www.ebay.com/str/oogxxdrealisticsilicone)
Communications
I DM'ed the ebay seller and asked about purchasing a "Hans" mask - I received responses in a very timely manner - either a few hours or a day - and asked to purchase a "plain vanilla" version. By default, Kingface punches in eyebrows. A "Hans" was available, so I received an ebay link to make the sale.
Fulfillment
Because I purchased on ebay, the tracking was much better than my experience with UTDisguise. I purchased the mask on October 5 and it was delivered on October 18. Tracking was done thru OrangeConnex and 17Track. Estimated delivery was to be October 22, so getting it 4 days in advance was a pleasant surprise.
Packaging
The mask arrived in a SMALL box. I was a bit concerned that the mask was stuffed into the box to reduce shipping costs, but again, I was pleasantly surprised to find the mask packed with airbags to keep it's shape, wrapped in a foamy plastic sheet and placed into a ziploc bag. Because the mask has a very short bib, Kingface can safely pack the mask in smaller package. A fully haired mask would/should probably warrant a larger box.
Okay - onto the mask itself!!!
Mask - Overall
First off the mask is thinner than I expected. The mask is approximately the same thickness as a Smitizen mask and much thinner than the UTDisguise Shadow Drone mask. The mask is also thinner than a standard CFX or Immortal realistic-type mask, but thicker than a CreaFX mask. Because of the thinness of the mask, I would recommend gentle placement and removal to prevent any tears, pulls or stretching.
HOWEVER, where the Smitizen mask requires a good deal of padding to make it passably wearable, the KingFace mask is a great fit. Fit on the head is perfect, as well as around the mouth, across the nose bridge and over the ears. The neck is a tad loose (I have about a 15" neck), but using my handy-dandy 1/4" foam rubber neck spacer made it a great fit.
The ears are VERY well sculpted and fit comfortably over the wearer's ears. The ear holes are a little too circular and regular and could be more realistic.
There is an adjustable metal nosepiece in the mask as well.
Mask - Paintjob
Excellent. There are minor imperfections which only accentuate the reality of the mask, as well as some very faint veining which adds to the quality of the paintjob.
Mask - Hairing
While I went with the "standard" amount of hairing - just eyebrows - the punching job was excellent. The eyebrows were well-shaped, full and worked perfectly with the "Hans" overall look. Interior sealing is a bit rough and messy, but effective - if you have had work done by either Jerry Almond or AMS Hair Punching, you can immediately see the difference.
Mask - Eye fitment
I have to say I am really pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sculpt. Whereas many US/Canadian vendors tend to have a thicker mask and thin the silicone around the eye area, the Kingface thickness is the same throughout, but the fit is subtle, excellent and comfortable. For those of you with very deep-set eyes, you may need a little bit of foam padding in the back of the mask to push your face forward, but the majority of folks will find that there is no distiguishable transition from the mask to your eyes. On the Silva Scale, I would rate this a strong 9.
Mask - Mouth fitment
Again, very pleasantly surprised at the precision of the sculpt. The lips do curl inward and fit around your own lips, but it's not a tight fit. Speaking with the mask is not as perfect as a Studio135 mask, but still very good. With other masks (e.g. Chiseled, GQ) the mouth fitment was so amazingly good you could actually SMILE in it and have it reflected in the mask. I give this a 8 on the Silva Scale.
Mask - Neck
Because of the thinness of the mask, there is little to no actual definition of a muscular neck. It would be nice to see a thicker neck with some intrinsic musculature. I think this would also add to the realism of the mask. There is also the issue of some neck wrinkling when twisting back and forth. This can be lessened by using a foam rubber spacer under the mask (which I forgot to put on when I took the pics)
Mask - Bib
Really none to speak of - there is a short, semi-circular bib in back and in front, long enough to put into a t-shirt, polo or dress shirt (and leave the collar button open). Again, because of the thinness of the mask, there is no detail to the bib.

Smitizen Half Torso video review
Переглядів 3,9 тис.Рік тому
Showing off the Smitizen "half torso with arms and no belly" - which helps even out the proportions of the upper body when wearing a mask and avoids the "South Park" effect. This was *NOT* purchased as a standalone piece (like a full torso), but rather to address the head-to-body ratio when wearing a realistic mask. At approximately $250, it's a great piece of silicone for your transformations!...
Mask Review: Troy Half-Mask by Metamorphose
Переглядів 4,9 тис.2 роки тому
Video review of the new Troy half-mask by Metamorphose Masks. The mask is cut slightly larger than Yves' full masks, but still provides an excellent fit with some foam padding. As usual, the sculpt is excellent as is the paintjob and detailing (such as ear design). Lip and eye fitment are excellent. Troy appears to be slightly older or (a bit more rugged) "age" which is a well-fitting addition ...
Mask Review - "GQ" by Studio135
Переглядів 13 тис.2 роки тому
Reviewing one of Studio135's newest masks - the "GQ" - improved overall fitment over the Chiseled, Brawler and Knuckles, and incredibly improved fit in the eye and mouth area. Definitely 11/10. Slightly thicker/heavier mask than the earlier models as well. Overall paintjob is - as usual - excellent. With the new 3D process, there is no more sculpted bib, and in this model, as well as the "Punis...
Mask Review - "The Black Model" From Metamorphose Masks

Yves has scored another home run! If you're interested in a younger, sleeker, handsome-as-hell black guy mask that is reminiscent of a young DMX, this is it! Yves' latest improvements in his sculpt and core has really paid off, with improved fitment across all areas - forehead, cheekbones, eyeholes and mouth. Overall, we're looking at a 9.9 on the Silva scale for this amazing creation! Ear deta...
Making Your Mask Better - Fitment Tips

While I've done many mask reviews, I've never really shared the tips and tricks I've gotten from others or figured out myself. In this video, I show you how to adjust the fit of your mask thru the use of foam rubber fillers to give it the most personalized fit possible. Foam rubber is cheap, reusable, washable and relatively cool for extended wear. I hope that you find this useful, and if you h...

"Jake" by Immortal Masks - review - PART DEUX
Переглядів 3,6 тис.5 років тому
When I'm wrong, I'll admit it. I had mentioned to Jerry Almond that while I loved the mask, the eyeholes still prevented it from being truly "realistic" and he gave me excellent advice. Jerry has had a lot of experience with Immortal masks, and he said, "Pull on the nose, then yank on the ears." It worked. I am much happier with the way the mask fits now, and I wanted to upgrade my score on the...
Metamorphose Masks "Secret Agent" Review - The Throttle Jockey

When Yves Gravelle said he was developing a mask based on a younger Tom Cruise, I couldn’t wait to try it on. New fabrication techniques, new core, new everything. I AM MORE THAN IMPRESSED. I AM AMAZED. First off, I want to say that Yves has achieved a solid 9.9 on the Silva scale for lip fitment. Alone with the Studio135 masks, the “Secret Agent” mask is the only mask from any vendor that you ...
Immortal Masks "Jake" Review

When Immortal Masks came out with the "Jake" mask, I knew I had to get it. One, this would be my *FIRST* Immortal full mask and the first full mask equipped with the complete mesh reinforcement. Overall, the mask is good, but it needs some work to become PERFECT. Immortal has a very long and very successful history in the haunt industry, and some of that experience is carried over to it's hyper...

Back in 2013, a set of crooks used CFX "Mac" masks to rob a check-cashing store of over $200,000. Garrett Zima (another incredible masker) was the first one to ask CFX for an "Attica Mac" mask - a version which was identical to the one used in the robbery. (See forums.civfanatics.com/threads/3-blacks-on-trial-for-valentines-day-robbery-in-queens.504839/) Of course, I wanted one as well, and I h...

Movement video to showcase Evolutions Masks 3D sculpting and printing capabilities. This mask was based a number of photos of Trevor Goddard, an English actor best known for psychotic villain Kano in "Mortal Kombat" - Excellent fit, perfect thickness for durability and movement and absolutely *AMAZING* eyeholes. NOTE: At times you may hear me slurring some words ... I had just finished the still shoot using this mask, and I should have removed it and cleaned out the drool around the mouth. "The Gray" from Metamorphoses Mask - Quick Movement Video
Переглядів 3,3 тис.6 років тому
Here's a quick review and movement video of Yves Gravelle's take on our favorite anal-probing aliens! As usual, spectacular paintjob, finishing and lip cupping - the mask is a bit heavier than his other creations, so it takes a bit of adjusting to the balance - but hey, I've got a ram-horned demon as well and I don't crash into doorways any more! Another great product from Yves and Metamorphose...

Dermal Synthetics Review - Dark Derrick and CFX Normal Human Gloves
Does the silicone sweat or give off an oily residue?
No, that usually happens when the manufacturer uses a cheap deadening agent like silicone oil; the mask is completely dry with no residue or smell.
Does this or Smitizen mask leave a “stinging” or “burning” sensation when worn for a prolonged time? Used to own a similar Chinese-based mask off Amazon which causes that reaction. Had no issues with the known brands like Immortal.
No, this feels fine being worn for an extended period. I never had an issue with Smitizen, either - but that mask seemed to have been created on a larger and rounder mold. I needed foam rubber at the back of the head and around the neck for a proper fit.
which muscle suit is that?
This is the Smitizen half-torso - great buy for around $215
I really like the torso it looks amazing.
Nice to see you back ❤
Agree ❤
Thanks!
@@pb10016 Could you tell how long time you usually wear the mask without taking it off? Is it a great pleasure for you?
@@tomaszk8204 - it depends on the situation. I generally wear it for at least 2 hours, sometimes up to 8-12 hours.
@@pb10016 Up to 8-12 hours... ☺️ Awesome... 😊 It must be amazing and wonderful feeling to feel it and see yourself in mask ☺️☺️☺️

Do you remember how long it took to receive this item after you ordered it? We're looking to order something from Smitizen to use for a Halloween costume, but we want to make sure that it gets here in time.
its getting there but its still needs work, especially the bottom lip and eye sockets. thats horrifying
Kinda makes me wonder whether some of those so called Black-on-Black crime murders in the hood are actually being perpetrated by other folk.
Dude you're so lucky, i just came across Studio 135 like a few days ago and was bummed to find out, there no longer for sale 😢
Nice review! I have one under construction myself: The Player. Looking forward to it's completion and arrival.
The Player? That was an SPFX mask from Rusty Slusser. Are you getting a Studio135 mask or one from another company?

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE????I'm confused and just clicked????
wow that looks incredible! How long is it possible to wear it for before getting to hot? Thanks
Haven't had any issues for long term wear - since it's a half-torso, you generally remain comfortable for a long time - I've been in it for 5+ hours without any problem.
@@pb10016 Thats immense that you can wear it for so long without getting over heated. But do you sweat a lot?
@@NitrousBreather - Generally not - usually just down the middle of my back

Realflesh, seem to offer the highest consistent level of hyperrealistic. Interested in why you havent gone that direction the last few years. Your reviews of the Realflesh masks you have seem to offer best fitment to your headshape. Your reviews are consistently very high. can you comment?
I think both Metamorphose and Realflesh offer the best quality realistic masks. Ian (Realflesh) and Yves (Metamorphose) are a pleasure to work with, and I have never had any issue with either of them. For my head, many Realflesh masks fit great, but there are some that are cut larger, so you need to ask first before making a purchase.
Where do you see, is it heavy? Can you wear it for a while and not get too hot?
You see through the eyes - they are like sunglasses. This is one of the heavier masks I owned, but once it's on, it's very comfortable.
@@pb10016 oh wow I was going to go for this other company in the US it's $1000 but this is a bit cheaper I'd want a gray one but didn't like the one I saw can they do full gray?

You don’t look like a brown/African American. You look creepy and if I saw you I would run. No African American would ever purchase such a suit conveying yall pink skin. Y’all are some weird creatures
Argh, I was just about to pull the trigger on one of these for myself, but Studio135 is no longer in business! Such a shame. On another note, have you considered getting Smitizen's two-piece muscle suit for a true full-body transformation? I'd LOVE to see you totally encased in this alter-ego...
I Want it . Looks awesome . 😁👍 Have you still got it mate.
Ummm uhh umm ummm uhh ummm and ummm ummm and ummm uhh ahh Jerry ummand ummm and ummm uhhhmmm
I like the arm tattoo. It sells the gloves
what the fuck is on your face is that a dom mask?
It looks amazing and has great movement, but it looks really huge.
The detail is so amazing on Studio135
Up close and personal, the proportions are fine. Although the company that comes out with a shoulder/deltoid extension you can wear with any mask will pull in some nice cheddar.... :)
I meant to say "you won't be disappointed" ... LOL
An extraordinary mask
Why do people buy these masks? Strictly for costume parties? Or do you wear them out in public as a goof?
Would you consider buy eyebrow wigs to save money?
Perhaps, but it's difficult to have wigs of any kind adhere well to silicone. You could try, but I couldn't guarantee how fake they would look.
i dont want to be around anymore. i got too much fucking shit on me.
All this says, to me, is white people want to be black so bad. It's so pathetic. How can you hate a group, so much but want to be them, so badly? Really pathetic, creepy and sick.
Not every white person is racist
How much you pay for the mask?
Pricing is on the Studio135 page. Contact Jerry Almond for hairing quotes.
great mask!!
Looks good bud. The lip cuping looks real good 👍 I agree with a little more skulpt under the neck it will set it off but from what I see great mask brother
