I remember what it was like to finish a video before you could upload it to this website. This is better.
On this channel, in the order of popularity:
Archives of old VHS tapes. I digitize old media and upload it for educational purposes. My goal is to post videos that are not available anywhere else. A lot of these tapes were recorded by me, or my Mom, or my Dad's cousin.
Music and Sound Art. I make it nearly everyday. When I was younger, I wrote rock and folk songs and there are a couple of those here. Now it's a lot of synths and samplers and experimental home brew instruments on raw bread board circuits.
Documentary and non-fiction. I once worked as a journalist for print and radio. I made some videos in college. There's even a short film or two.
Videos of my baby who is now old enough to explain UA-cam to you better than I ever could.
Public Access TV comedy. I am a volunteer producer at Open Signal Portland Community Media. Each episode is a special snowflake.

They're Making Me Delete My Best Video
Переглядів 1046 місяців тому
I was living the dream for a minute there... On the occasion of growing the channel, getting monetized and then having UA-cam force me to rethink the whole thing... I still haven't actually decided what to do with my channel, or with the videos that UA-cam is vaguely insisting I delete if I want to earn money here. This video was recorded on May 31st, 2024 and some events with the channel evolv...

I kept this private for almost a year but now I've decided to reveal that I'm a huge dork SP404-mkii sampler, sm58 microphone, The Sandy River, OR The sample was off a vinyl 45 that I bought for a dollar that summer at Goodwill. I am aware that it is also part of hip-hop history.
Soul Assylum covers "Don't Stop" the Clinton Campaign Theme at the MTV Inauguration Ball 1993

Soul Asylum covers "Don't Stop" [thinking about tomorrow] by Fleetwood Mac at the conclusion of the long broadcast. The song was the theme music for United States presidential candidate Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign, and was played at the 1992 Democratic National Convention during its final night balloon drop. Upon winning the election, Clinton persuaded the group to perform the son...

I remember this show. I never really knew what it was about or anything, but I remember seeing the intro and changing the channel
Saw these guys open for ZZTop. Very good!
Donovan was an arrogant jerk I love it
Simpsons Geek looks like could be Mario Lopez's nerdy younger brother... and his last name is also Lopez...?!
Wow! Can’t believe this commercial ad was 30 years ago my goodness I feel so old now.😂
Satan's House Band... Absolutely superb. Real showmen and talented beyond belief...
gdmi if Conan didn't have the finest rock n' roll available to man on his show...
@29:10 Showoff! Showoff! Love that!
Thank you for sharing. Frederick Douglas was indeed a giant among men!
That Music Geek-Off question was cruel.
The Rev is one of the best guitarists I’ve ever heard. I’ve been playing guitar since the mid 80’s and I’m pretty good at it and have a lot of people tell me so but I would give anything to be able to play like that. The Rev is phenomenal!
To the TV Geek’s opening remark Shirley Wilson, Freddy J. Rerun Stubbs, Dee Thomas, Mabel Thomas, Bill Thomas, Dwayne Clemens Nelson, Roger Everett Gerald Thomas, Gene Walker, Big Earl Barnett, Little Earl Barnett, Terry Simpson, Marvin, Diane Harris, Rob, & Mrs. Gertrude Collins. I wonder if he’s also including guest stars as well because I do happen to know quite a few of them as well.
Simpsons Geek lost his medal, but got it back in the end.
why he didn't go the cheap route and go with the treehouse of horror, treehouse of horror ii, etc.
@@gameshows5973 because he’s a Geek, not a Nerd. You know Geeks wouldn’t do things the Easy Way
“Hi, I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such cartoons as Christmas Ape & Christmas Ape goes to Summer Camp.”
There should have been a Futurama geek.
15:27 The Gift that keeps on Giving
Just saw them last night. Almost 30 years later and they’re just as good if not better. Fucking legends
Gyad, that was horrible!!
If date rape had a look, this would be it....m
In my youth, I would’ve destroyed the Simpsons Geek
I've played GOLF with the Rev TWICE. He is one of the nicest gentlemen I ever met.
This guy is still killing it today, I’ve seen him live a couple of times at The House of Blues in San Diego 👍
This was way before diseases and hurricanes Douglass was obviously a black hero
That Simpsons “geek off” was interesting. The contestant was asked to name merchandise that Bart Simpson appeared on, considering how popular that character was and is, especially when the show was first introduced to the public, that’s basically asking someone to just list almost any random items. Seriously, t-shirts, socks, shoes, cereal, comic books, notebooks, VHS, DVD, phones, CDs, books, magazines etc etc all would have been valid answers. The geek meanwhile was asked to name episodes of the Simpsons, which as others have pointed out, he technically could have just named Treehouse of Horror 1 through 20 and won. 🤷🏼♀️
Good times! About when they got Scott Churilla from the Supersuckers!
Wow. Over $200. Incredible.
I saw him at the Mucky Duck in Houston back in the mid 90's. Place holds about 250 people. Wonderful show and great venue. And the Duck is still open. Loved that place.
That was amazing.
What a great entertainer. Saw him first at the BellyUp Saloon in Solana Beach in ‘95. Years later he sat down at the table next to my wife and I in Jake’s Steakhouse in Billings MT before his show in a little dive bar. Had a quick conversation and photo op with him. Very gracious guy, I’m sure he was hoping to just have a steak in peace. Put on another great show that evening. Venue size makes no difference, you’re going to get 2.5 hours of smoking acid rockabilly.
Linda was the best
“Hey can I stand on that thing?” “…sure, it can be your base..”
This is the best game show ever, we need more episodes on UA-cam!
Hmmm
I actually went on that BTG website. God this takes me back.
Best stand up bass stunts ever known to man. God bless the Rev and Jimbo Wallace.
7:20 When a million dollars was a lot of money!
And they were still full size then
Still touring too! Don't pass up a chance to see them if they come to your tow.
It's kinda embarrassing to admit, but back then I could've been the Power Rangers geek.
God Bless you, whoever posted this !!! I’ve been looking for this for years

i make Zero Money on this one or my Pink Floyd one and im Happy with that just do it so people can listen to or watch movies they cant see anywhere else guess it still sucks good luck brother
Hey man that is just how it is. The things that they seem to be asking to delete I don't actually think you made anyways (beat the geeks owned by comedy central) and like if you are passionate about it just change it a little and reupload and collect more views. It was kind of hard to listen to you talk about the past so much when we are talking about like 100 dollars. This whole time you spent thinking about this whole thing you could have used to make a newer and better video instead of looking back. I am not a youtuber, so I don't really know what it is like. I mean this in the best way possible not to like dog on you too. Just keep going man! The internet will leave you behind if you stay there. UA-cam especially will not care unfortunately. With more TV stations creating live channels every day. Most of these old reuploads will get claimed over time.
Mannn like… what?! Do you just need to put little text over the top or do little cuts or have 3 seconds at the start where you go “you’ll never believe this old video!” Before it comes on so they feel like you’re being creative? Come on UA-cam help our boy out
The fun part of UA-cam is the never being sure!
What a gem of a time capsule. Times were better then.... commercials were simple. Nothing forced for "dei." Sigh...
Seeing him and Unknown Hinson on the same stage would have been pretty crazy awesome.
Fuckin gold Eric! Saw the Rev twice back inda day! Quality is outstanding! You loved n cuddled that VHS. Thanks man
Awesome Beat The Geeks game show classic!!
I forgot this show existed. Thanks for leaving the commercials too!
Dog that simpsons geek had the easiest questions and he still bombed on naming episodes off the top of his head
