In its December program, Nossa Voz sang at a charity event for Crisis.
The number of members was reduced, so we were still able to prioritize solos in several songs.
Fundraising was very good overall, like last year.

Every two years a new theme is chosen for the group’s official show. We began work on the theme “TROPICÁLIA” during the Covid-19 pandemic, online at first and then in open-air rehearsals. Bye Bye Brasil ..great song! by Roberto Menescal and Chico Buarque. Menescal says in interviews that he wrote the music after sitting on a plane, hearing the arpegiatted tones from the aircraft speaker system "ding dong, ding dong.." and then when they recorded it for the film, Chico came to the studio had a listen, then came back with sheets of paper full of lyrics to complete the track.
