Bredon Hill Quarter Peal Marathon, 2024
On 20th January 2024 six local ringers took part in a Quarter Peal Marathon around Bredon Hill, Worcestershire, in aid of the Elmley Castle Restoration Appeal.
The band was ably assisted by numerous local ringers who supported not only with financial donations, but also raising and lowering the bells.
The band consisted of Rachel D Page, Richard Lewis-Skeath, Reg Hitchings, Roger Hunt, Harry Stephenson and Steve Bowley.
The marathon included attempts at Ashton Under Hill, Beckford, Overbury, Kemerton, Bredon, Bredons Norton, Eckington, Great Comberton, Little Comberton and Elmley Castle with 12,828 changes rung over seven hours and 33 minutes between 9am and 8:41pm

Was nice to meet Paul Buckley and his lovely wife today. Very impressed with the creativity and tireless work to honor a church model in detail, He gave me a tour from his studio in the garden to the church where he explained many interesting things, there I realized that the years for this man were just numbers I left maybe to come back another day to visit this beautiful village in the united kingdom until then my best wishes to the Buckley family
