The lack of cohesiveness was encouraged by a lack of support by government. there was a regime in place that deliberately isolated Caribbean expats socially and economically. to those begging for reparations: I am sure the circumstances of your birth is no worse than that of most White people in the USA today (2024 AD). More White people are on welfare than Blacks (2023 AD SNAP recipients: 37% White, 26% Black). More White people are in prisons than Blacks (2020 AD: 88,648 Whites, 60,640 Blacks at the Federal level; 636K Whites, 400K Blacks at the State level). More White people are shot to death by the Police than Blacks (2023 AD: 425 Whites, 229 Blacks). If you feel stressed, distressed, oppressed, depressed, suppressed, repressed because your great-great-great grand parents were slaves, you need mental help, not reparations. Correction. A proper form of reparations: a voucher for 1000 hours of psychotherapy. To differentiate non-Jewish Caucasians from Jewish Caucasians the Nazis made the Jews to wear a yellow Star of David. Will the ADOS/FBA advocates propose that the certified ADOS/FBA wear a Black Triangle? To differentiate the (ADOS/FBA)-Blacks from the non-(ADOS/FBA)-Blacks? Are the ADOS/FBA advocates mimicking the KKK and White supremacists scrutinizing one's family tree to find 1 drop of Black Blood (that's a N###AH!!!) or a drop of Slave Blood (that's a ADOS/FBA!!!)? Are the silly folks who are proposing determining the reparations recipients by "lineage" also to determine the PAYERS of reparations by "lineage"? Are the silly folks who are proposing determining the reparations recipients by "lineage" also bigots and see all of society as subconscious slave holders? The silly folks proposing reparations are just as evil as slave owners: the slave owners benefitted from the misery of slaves and the silly people want to benefit from the misery of the long dead slaves. The slaves are long dead: why are the current requesters for reparations acting like necrophiliacs?

The FBA/ADOS are like babies with a hammer (everything is a nail): political solutions will solve economic and social problems. Establish a law: "Poverty is Illegal!!!" Yes, that will solve the Poverty Problem!!! Establish a law: "Minimum Wage is $1000/hr!!!" Yes, that will solve the Poverty Problem!!! Establish a program: Reparations for the Blacks!!! Yes, that will solve the Economic Inequality Problem for the Blacks!!! The Blacks should learn from the Jews. Book of Exodus (it is not the Book of Reparations). Moses asked the Pharaoh: "Let my people go!!!" Moses did not ask: "Give me REPARATIONS!!!" Yes, the Jews mugged their neighbors for clothing and jewelry for travel expenses after the Egyptians were terrorized by the 10 Biblical plagues. Travel expenses was not REPARATIONS. The Jews spent 40 years in the Sinai before entering the Promised Land (Israel). Why? Answer: Moses and his generation need to die off because said generation was born and raised in Egypt, in a culture of Slavery. Only the generation born in the Sinai Desert, raised in a Slavery-Free culture, can enter Israel. The Blacks who are asking for ¡¡¡REPARATIONS!!! are still marinated in the culture of Slavery and thus unsuitable to enter the Promised Land of Social and Economic Progress.

The word "reparations" is just a buzzword for "Charity", "Aid", "Welfare", "Handout". After decades of Charity, Aid, Welfare, Handout and still being stuck in the muck, the beggars are too ashamed to ask for more and more Welfare so they are now begging for REPARATIONS. More REPARATIONS, please. The decades of Charity, Aid, Welfare, Grants, Loans, Handouts should have been used to repair the damages (real or imagined). And yet the "damaged" still remained failures. With a proven history of failures, giving more Charity or "REPARATIONS!!!" to persistent failures is unwarranted, unwise, and idiotic. Not all damages are to be repaired; often amputation is necessary. The advocates for reparations are delusional to think that current wealth is based on past slave labor. Incorrect. 99% of wealth of 200 years ago has long since dissipated. 99% of slave-generated wealth in the USA was destroyed in the Civil War. Wealth comes and goes. None of the companies listed in the 1930 Dow Jones is on the 2023 Dow Jones. Slave-generated wealth is gone, gone with the wind. This nostalgia about slave-generated wealth reminds me of a person cherishing a knife once owned by an ancestor: the blade was replaced 5 times and the handle was replaced 2 times. The economy of air travel, electric power, computers cannot be possible with slave labor. Slave labor is old tech. AI, airplanes, refrigerators are high tech. Someone mentioned a man-made pond in South Carolina: this pond was made by slaves!!! The pond is the property of the slave owner, not of the slaves. The slaves were unpaid help. Someone who, say, installed windows in your house does not own equity in your house. The issue is one of back pay for the slaves. In any jurisdiction, there is a finite statute of limitations on back pay claims (usually 3-to-10 years, NOT 100 years, NOT 300 years). The slaves' labor had value. The pond is still present and quite likely still has value. Year after year taxes are assessed against the market value of the pond. The collected taxes do not go to the evil slave owner or his/her descendants but to GOVERNMENT (Federal, State, Local) from which ALL (Black, White, Otherwise) benefitted. The beggars for reparations have been collecting - for decades - the back pay of their distant dead slave ancestors through Government programs.

The KKK has already been sued into bankruptcy. Why be greedy? Request for further reparations is just begging by the greedy grifters. But, but, but SLAVES built the USA!!! Nope. HELPED build the USA, Yes. BUILT the USA, No. Slavery is low-tech. The USA of Automobiles, Gene Therapy, Space Travel, Computers, Internet is high-tech. High-Tech is impossible via Slavery. If Slavery were around today, the USA would be deep in Misery and Poverty, with Donkey and Horse as main Transportation. Slaves were used because one cannot train Donkey and Horse to pick cotton; with the mechanical cotton harvester, slavery became useless and uneconomical. Slaves did not invent the mechanical cotton harvester. Unfortunately, slave labor was (and still is) an inferior form of economic development. No matter what, the North would have defeated the South in the US Civil War because the Northern economy - 95% slave-free - was more robust. Today's USA is rich despite slavery. Point to the poorest parts of the USA and you are pointing to the result of slavery. Point to the richest parts of the USA and you are pointing where slavery had no part. Why should one pay any monetary award to slaves and/or their descendants for producing and maintaining the poorest parts of the USA? I know. I know. The slaves were mere unpaid help so do not blame the slaves for poor low-tech work. The FBA (Foundational Black American), the ADOS (American Descendent of Slavery) should pay extra taxes to the Government to express gratitude for having their ancestors sent to the blessed land of America on a slave ship. Muhammed Ali, after the fight with George Foreman, said "I am glad my grand pappy came to America on a slave ship". The FBA, the ADOS could be stuck in Africa today (the horror!!!) if not for the slave trade. The FBA and ADOS need to kiss the White Man's gluteus maximus.
