I'm on the fence about her art. It's beautiful but in some cards the collage looks a bit clumsy to me. I don't like the card size and cardstock varies. But she lives pretty near me so I have to support a "neighbor" and bought her World Arcana deck and book which comes with smaller cards. I should get it soon so I'll see if the card size might tip me over. Does it read well for you? Hope 2025 is treating you great, Orsi!🎉🎉🥳

That's Magical Nature, a deck made with natural dyes (like from plants) and minerals. Incredible herbiage cardstock. Glad you like it! 💙

I thought they would look good together and I only had to do one video! My real favorite Star card is from the Urban Tarot but I don't have that right now. It's a young woman in a city with one bare foot in the gutter and the other on the sidewalk reaching up towards a star. Hope you're feeling a sense of accomplishment coming towards the end of the project! 🌠💙

Glad to hear we think alike (plus it saved me doing 3 separate videos!). I got Tarot Obscuro because it reminded me of Remembering the Sweet Fool (though much darker) which I love. Both provide a mood rather than symbology or a scene which I find thought provoking--kind of like visual pips that don't dictate your interpretation! Thanks so much for watching

Yes, Julia, you are the only person on earth who doesn't have The Heartwood... :) I backed Oak, Ash, and Thorn and passed it on and never bought her second deck with dragons. They were just pretty pictures of animals. But Heartwood with the atmosphere of the abandoned house and various objects the animals interact with really provides much more meaning to the cards, so I like it. I would have thought with it originating in the UK it wouldn't be that expensive to ship. Anyway, thanks so much for watching! 💙

As I often have decks for the art I do have a few animal ones but not mainly. For reading I lean into decks more like Haptic that make you find a new approach. Remembering the Sweet Fool is one of my favorites for that! Thanks for watching and good luck with that reprint 🙂

No idea. In fact now that you mention it, with 3 fallen and 2 upright it sure looks more like the 5 of Cups! (Though the 5 of Cups has the same # and position of cups so they weren't switched).

@@papermoontarot4219 Well, I don't actually have a desk where I keep my most used (or any, really) tarot decks, Nancy.🤭.. in my room where I film my videos, I actually only have a small-ish coffee-size table for the cards (for both filming with the camera down and doing readings) and I sit on the floor (well on a yoga bolster).. so, my most used decks are on the shelves behind me or are on the shelving unit in front of me (not visible in videos). .. As for the decks, I missed one, and we have 3 in common: Stella, Pip Speak & Metanoia! 💕💕💕

The Haptic Tarot really is lovely. I'm impressed you must have watched to the end if you saw the wind instrument! I actually played a few notes in the video but it didn't come through at all! If you play, I recommend one; this model plays about 10 different instrument sounds (recorder, sax, clarinet, flute, etc.) and it's not that expensive (maybe $60). Thanks very much for watching 💖😘

I understand your feelings about AI. But I figure sewing machines took work away from seamstresses, digital art often takes the place of hand drawn art, automated elevators took work away from elevator operators, and on and on. But as long as an artist is using the tool and adding their creativity to it, I accept it. We can't stop so called progress, but we can make a difference in how we'll use technology or let it use us. Thanks, Julia. I'm generally not a fan of AI art when a) it looks all stretched out and somehow off and b) it's the sole effort, meaning it wasn't used as a tool with other tools by an artist. This one really is beautiful, more like digital collage, and has been working well for me. Thanks for coming by!

Thanks for watching and for your thoughts. Fortunately or not, AI will be folding laundry and washing dishes and appearing in our inventions, medical treatments, and art. In art I look at it like Photoshop--a tool that can give you whole cloth textures, blended colors, etc., but for me, when used by an artist based on their intuition with other tools can be valid. Collage takes bits and pieces of others' images and reuses them. Musicians and poets riff on others' works. We have to be watchful and consider what we create and consume, but I think we will find that avoiding AI in our lives will become harder and harder. ❤
