Thanks so much for this tutorial, I learned a lot about gel paint and foiling. One thing I've learned about stamping with gels is to use gel foil glue before applying the gel stamp instead of the top coat. It adheres so much better.

I love the toric soltica colors but they feel like you are putting sandpaper in your eyes!! I tried the regular desio prescription lenses and they were not as uncomfortable but not wearable for me. Maybe the Desio Toric ones are better?

i just got these gels a few days ago because of your awesome review hehe!! but one thing i’ve been noticing is that whenever i paint these onto my press ons there are a number of noticeable air bubbles…how do i go about avoiding that? 😭

Akzentz IS out of Canada :D originated in BC. My nail teacher loves to talk about how she was one of the original people supporting and selling it 30yrs ago. I also love the akzentz matte 😍🥰 I’ve never got bubbles in my topcoat. Edit: ✨ that is astonishing black. I just appreciated the akzentz because it wasn’t streaky

I have 5 colors and loved them so I orders 21 more. Thanks for testing the stamping I had thought it would do great but had not tried it yet. You just saved me time and a failure for stamping.

I do my own dip powder and have done polygel and gel a few times now, I really want to try these but I'm not sure about the fact it doesn't self level. I'm afraid I'd end up with streaky nails.

I like the desio ones more on you 😍 I feel the solotica ones make a zombie look on me personally. I also have a ring of green in my eyes, so I tend to stick with the natural looking ones bc they blend so well with me.

This video has zero value because you do not show a before and after, your natural color eyes vs. your eyes with the contacts. Also it would be great to demonstrate more than one color.

May I ask where you purchased these lenses from? Unless you order from Solotica directly or lens.me, those are the only 2 legit sites for Solotica. Your Ipamena's look legit, which is why I can see you love them so much, but the 3 you reviewed look nothing like the authentic Solotica lenses in color. There are a lot of sites that claim they sell Solotica, but they are dupes. Just curious, as I have Copacabana and they are a minty pale green and are beautiful, and Parati is a blue grey, not the pale white as they appear in your video. Glad you like Ipanema...they are an amazing lens!

Do these gels have an order to them? I bought something similar on Amazon and the odor was horrible.

Yeah my right eye is 2.50 toric and left is .50, not toric but I have astigmatism. And I can’t wear a regular clear lens because I wind up tearing my eye out. Ugh!

Why didn't you scrape the rest of the product from the jar into the bottle? There's so much left, that's a lot of product to throw into the garbage.

Their rubber bases act like nailbed color corrector's under the makeup pigments builders! Orange and red or in this case hot magenta pink are color corrector's.

I do something similar with the pads of my fingers. I feel they are more pressure sensitive but you still have to be careful with your angle. Either way, you gotta get the lens out somehow lol
