@@mattmakesnoise Hey Matt! Yeah, that old springer looks more like an old D&D springer. Jammer just marketed those springers. You can always tell a Jammer springer from the front rails which extend upwards a little, past the bottom spring rests. D&D springers had spring rests (seats) had that upside-down cupped look to them. D&D springers also had those unique rockers. Maybe locate or machine up some oil-lite bushings for the rockers, check the spring guides and spring rods for excessive wear, install new springs and then install that fork on your Evo chop. @@mattmakesnoise, Oh, okay. Why'd you get rid of the most important brake? Also, I was just thinking, about an idea that I had years ago. I bet you could repurpose that lever, and make an emergency brake system, for parking on hills. Whoever could figure that out would be pretty smart.

@@RayfordRaySiegel Ah, the age old front brake argument hahah. Just giving you guff man! I ain’t against one by any means, just ain’t for me. Been riding choppers with only a rear brake for so long it feels unnatural to have a front brake almost. For me at least, when it’s there, I almost feel like I’m going to sling myself over the bars when I use it. For jockey shift, I just hold the clutch open a bit on hills and it does the trick. Interesting idea about the emergency brake. I’d definitely like to see it one day!

@@mattmakesnoise, I know, with the close encounters of the cage kind, that I probably wouldn't have made it. I just hope you never have a problem. I have heard of people combining the rear and front into the rear brake That might help you out, while keeping the look, along with not grabbing a lever. I thought it was bad on the clutch, to keep it open, a little. Does that give you any problems, after a while? Yeah. That would be cool.

It will mount to risers, depending on the diameter of them. The kit is two pieces so you could always get some longer bolts and spacers if the diameter of the risers is too big.

Absolutely man! Once you take it on the road two or three times you’re good to go. Honestly prefer the jockey setup now. I don’t have a front brake on this bike though so hills are a bit of a challenge but I’m so used to it by now that it really doesn’t matter too awful much.

It’s held on by a little alan bolt on the side so you can take it off if you wanted. The shifter itself isn’t threaded on the end though unfortunately.
