HILLHO.COM This MR2 Turbo is a 93 w/ TurboXS BOV run on street tires in this event! Boost pressure is 10-12#. Mostly stock, w/ 3" open exhaust. The grade after the last turn goes to 22*. I am working on one to race at Barber Motorsports plus auto cross events. I will like to do a hill climb as well. Looks fun. I will have a 406 SBC with about 600 HP but I will have to tune it down some I am sure. I will run E-85 on a 1050 dominator carb.
Charlie well I had a blast with mine until I crashed it at Duryea hill climb in PA .I have a few friends that would like for me to build another one

+alan bowman The motor at the time was a 406 sbc with about 425hp and maybe 450 ft and it had hdy lifters and I would shift about 6000 and it did have a quick change rearend

I lived in Vermont for 21 years, I can't believe I never went to this. Just moved to Virginia, might have to go back and watch this!

Michael pinto till this day that kill switch was never found, some say he's still asking till this very day
The NAs are a lot lighter in the rear: engine is reasonably lighter, the transmission is different and lighter. As such, better handling and easier to drive.

He's a good driver
Driving was fine, he just came in too hot and turned in too early. It sucks, but it happens... especially on blind corners like that. Anyone who's run canyons or hills has at least had a close call by doing that. It's a shame, that truck looks like it was awesome.

Yeah, def. As for the suspension, yeah, dbl wishbone is great and all, but I wouldn't be too quick to count out mac struts as people often do when comparing the two. Need to remember how many time attack evos hold track records...besides, in a track car, a touch of negative camber can fix most of the mac-strut issues. The live rear axle, though, is pretty funny. I'm surprised the rear doesn't get real iffy when there's bumps in the turns - it looks pretty stable!

an exaggeration. i'm sure it does more than 2200 rpm and less than 8,888 horsepower. but for sure it has double wishbone front suspension (the most advanced suspension in the world short of F1 monoshock suspensions, better than a bmw m3) and a solid rear axle suspended by leaf springs (the simplest form of suspension that i know of, comparable to the suspension of a horse drawn cart.) this juxtaposition, combined with the insane power rating, is simultaneously awe-inspiring and humorous.

very nice control for wet conditions. I'd say start accelerating sooner on the corner exit and perfect your heel/toe technique and you'll be golden.
YES !!! he just ran at the Reading Pagoda Hill Climb. He is a great guy and a great driver. The best thing about his Race Car/Truck is that he gets a lot of parts from swap meets and previously run tires and then beats the guys with high priced vehicles.
DAMN good driving. Easily doing 100+ km/h in rain. Takes a good driver to keep a MR2 stable in semi-wet conditions driving that hard uphill. +Respect.

iv watched all of this mans videos and he is a amazing driver i guarentee you put any one else behind that wheel and they would crash at the first turn. the people that trash talk for god knows why are just socially deprived and are taking out the frustration on those of us that have dreams and talents god bless
