@@oliveinnovations6106 You have it connected to drive wheels with a motor powering it. I guess you guys realized the wheels turned in opposite directions the moment you tried it out? I don't understand the point of putting this on drive wheels even if it were set up to drive them in the same direction given the inherent weakness of the design. Since you are doing this and have gotten this far, how about correcting the issue with wheels turning in opposite direction and the put this to work pulling a load on a road somewhere and post a video of it in action. I'd like to see how long the drive system stays intact. Stayin' cool, Chris

Absolutely vagish, this is just a try for showing different type of transmission system. This wont be a replacement.

Glad to see your valuable comment, actually we just tried to transmit the energy through shafts without gears. We successfully done it too next we need to add set of gears for changing the direction.

I'd like to see it under useful load on a vehicle and have the right angle rods not bend or break, and if they manage to survive initial and constant loading, to last a significant amount of time from friction wear. This problem has already been solved with a much better solution.

I agree it's a neat and valid concept. Just the side loads on those rods, even if thick, precisely fit, lubricated and of hard metals, would be something to be reckoned with. Possible, just not optimal.
