If I had to choose between the two I would want the white one because of the separate dials for speed and time, and the bowl is easier to dismount and put back on (no extra tools needed).

I think the new handle is to open is a great new feature. But to make the mixer still work even the cover guards are up is not good! Thats why they called guards because it's guarding from anyone reach into the bowl while the machine is working and end up with broken fingers. I dont think its passing the safety regulations and maybe some irresponsible customer asked for this feature who would like to feed the machine while working but thats why have holes on the guard to make you able to feed it safely why working. Just someone was lazy to clean the guard afterward. Also I'm not sure about the touchscreen because its looks so fancy and modern but in the kitchen sometimes our hand is massy or water on it what makes the touchscreen not that useful. I think the dough temp could be on LCD the speed is a regular knob, while the timer could count down in another knob and ofcourse the safety turn off taster like on the older models. Reliablity and simplicity often wins. The hook RPM range is amazing! But I think the details are not very detailed maybe 11 speed not enough it would be better to divide this high range to 20 speeds and everyone could regulate more precisely the speed they want. Otherwise its a fantastic machine, as always I would be so happy to try and test one out, but unfortunatelly I just know KYS who are selling. I would be happy to help to distribute in my region I think a cheaper affordable spiral mixer would be new to this market, but I dont have many experience with selling.
