For mushroom microdosing caps I find the size 1 for 140-190mg, 0 for 200-270 mg, size 00 for up to about 450mg for the actual powder inside them. Density of the mushroom powder is around 0.35-0.45g per milliliter of space in the empty capsules. Some of that will vary depending on the strain which might be slightly more dense and depending on just how cracker dry you got them And how tightly you pack them with the packing tool

🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴Wow...I find it easier just to put my powder in a small condiment bowl. Dump some capsules in there, open each capsule and scoop the halves 2-3 times in the powder. You can get pretty good at it. I probably could make that many in the same amount of time as the machine method.

Hey. Tried this. It’s a messy AF job dealing with powder. The biggest flaw of this product is when you flip the end caps to mage with the maid capsules, so many fall off. And I’m not sure if it’s to do with the quality of the capsules but there always about 10% that doesn’t cap together or the capping caps cut into the main body capsule and just spill the powder all over the place

What if I want to load smaller capsules?

yes but where can i buy this device? I have been searching for it through google and on amazon and found none of these devices.

This capsule machine dose not close every capsule 100 %, but leaves many capsules longer and not properly closed. You have to check every single one by hand.

my caps fall through when i flip the orange plate? my capsules are 0 and the machine i ordered said fits 0 or 1. I tried to squew the plate afterwards till it held on to the caps. Am i doing something wrong? thank you great job Karen

I've had this machine for quite some time. I do like it, except I do have one issue: When pouring in the capsules and shaking the machine, there is a tendency for the pieces (esp. the short caps) to bounce all over the place, off each other, outside of the machine, on the counter, the floor. Upside-down caps are the other issue. As this video shows, if the long end goes in upside down it's pretty easy to fix by pressing the spring down and lifting them up. The bigger problem is the short caps. If those are upside-down (which happens more frequently), I have to kind of pinch them to remove them. So I usually end up placing about 20-25 of them manually. Good machine, 8/10 but I'd recommend the piece you put on prior to dumping the capsules should have higher edges to keep the capsules inside. I also wish they made a smaller machine as well, because I don't always make large batches. Maybe a 36?

Tedious. I use colored vegan caps, MUCH easier to see at all stages. I do my work on cookie baking pans.. controls ALL the mess. I use larger bowls to dump the filled caps in. Lastly use large spoons or powdered mix plastic scoops to measure and distribute the powders.. pouring from the bags is waay too messy and imprecise. Just add enough to fill, level and tamp as you go.. much quicker, cleaner and easier. Cheers👍🙏🙂
