Z, it's Sibu. Not Cebu which is in the Philippines. Sibu is not the food capital but rather the centre of Foochow cuisine. Kuching is more Hokkien and Hakka inspired roots of cuisine. Analogy to Ipoh's Cantonese cuisine versus Sitiawan's Foochow cuisine. Regional variation. Preference are discerning for different people but Sibu is definitely never known as the food capital of Sarawak.

Cebu? U mean Sibu? Sibu has a few types of fantastic food. Enough to occupy two days. E.g. kampua, 鼎边糊，炒煮面....but u really must go to a good one. But wont consider Sibu a food capital. Sibu to me is boring. The old time charm is quite gone.

5:30 That is simply NOT kolo mee. And 101 is my least favourite place to eat. Kuching folks are also losing their taste for good food.

Green chili/red is a must. There is nothing called "spicy" kolo mee. The noodle should be good enuf to be eaten on its own. Forget about the red or black one.

Please dun eat kolo mee in Spore. It is a disgrace. Generally, you dun look for good Msian food in Spore. Kolo mee is worst. Even in Kuching, less than 2 in 10 stores make it to my "returnable" list.
