What about a graph where the ball is thrown downwards and then bounces. downward is taken as positive 🤔
The only difference is that your initial velocity will be some value and not zero. Think about it. Its simple
Why is the initial velocity zero??
@@EzelaineMashego because when your drop something, you're not really giving it any speed, basically you're just letting it go! Sir when we were solving for the 10kg block how did T suddenly become positive after we had moved 17.75 to the other side? How did its sign change from a negative to a positive?

You should for the future,when you choose a direction familiarise showing up as positive and after then show downwards as positive

Good day sir 7:26 when the ball starts falling, because we took upwards as posetive does the acceleration not become negative when it falls?
Acceleration involved with the ball changing direction from up to down has always been a bug to learners but let me stress this now, Acceleration due to gravity doesn't care whether the ball is going up or down, itself is ALWAYS pointing down (remember its a vector too), so its not gonna change direction based on the motion of the ball
in the grade 12 finals are the equations also given to be balanced?
The chemical equations are almost ALWAYS balanced for you, don't worry a lot about that part, they will give you balanced reactions
