Notre Dame has been exceptional at getting better as the game goes on. They keep their cool and keep coming. At this point both teams are working like well oiled machines, yet this is college football so anything can happen. However, if its a hard slug, methinks ND will win. If the game turns into a blow out, methinks again it will be Notre Dames game as will be due to their QB having a good running game. Further OSU had complete control of the game with Texas but they didn't. Fact is OSU had to burn two Pass interference calls to ensure UT didn't score at the end of the game. If they had not done so, UT would have tied things up and been in control of the momentum. We have seen OSU having lapse of execution in three other games, two of which they lost, so OSU is very vulnerable. Notre Dame's weakness is their QB. Yes he has lots of yards and is the team leader, yet he has made some bonehead mistakes. The good news for ND is that the back up QB did really well last week. Perhaps the Rose bowl will see a Joe Montana type late QB substitution that spartks the team into an incredible come back. I predict OSU will outscore ND in the first half and ND outscoring OSU in the second. This game is going to come down to keeping cool, interceptions, and field goals and ND has the edge on each.

Where did you get these numbers? Notre Dame Strength of schedule isn't 17th, its 43rd... And although the early win on A&M was solid, your next best wins were against Army who had a ridiculously bad SOS ranking of 89th (only playing 1 ranked team which was Notre Dame) and other "Best WIn" was Indiana who before playoffs only played 1 ranked team which was Ohio State and they got blown out. And the biggest names that were on Indiana's schedule of Michigan and Washington were both busts this year with combined records of 9-9 conference and 13-11 overall. So A&M is Notre Dames biggest win and A&M finished 8-5 with losses to Notre Dame, SC, Auburn, Texas, USC (SOS ranking 6 in country). I love how everyone goes by the stats of the weaker teams because they had cupcake schedules - well yes, you played 4 ranked teams regular season and they were 20th, 15th, 24th, 19th... and almost lose to Louisville 15th. They don't talk about bad losses - where Notre Dame lost week 2 to N Illinois ???? 8-5 Northern Illinois who beat you then lost to Buffalo, NC State, Toledo, Ball State, Miami Ohio.... Georgia's Big Wins over Clemson #14, Texas #1, Tennessee #7, Texas #2 With their 2 losses to Alabama and Ole Miss who both ended up 9-3 and would of been way better than any of Indiana, Notre Dame, SMU, Boise State, Arizona State, Clemson (half the teams in playoffs) Georgia on a bad year, not looking their normal selves, with toughest schedule in the nation come into playoffs still being #2 team... oh and #2 only because Oregons SOS was a joke too!!!! Oregon almost lost to Boise State, barely beat Ohio State at home, and barely beat Penn State in Big 10 championship. Before Big 10 championship Oregon had only played 2 ranked teams - Ohio State and Illinois, who both had much tougher schedules then Oregon. The rest of their schedule was blowouts against teams with losing records (7 had bad losing records). I really think the other 11 teams in the CFP, if they had played Georgia's schedule would be shocking. Clemson + TN + Penn State + Notre Dame = end with 3+ losses and dont make playoffs, Indiana + Boise + SMU + Arizona State = losing record which leaves Texas + Ohio State + Oregon who might of squeaked into playoffs with 2 losses... Georgia will win in the trenches, controlling offensive and defensive lines. They will key on the run and make Leonard have to throw the ball which will result in 1 or 2 INTs. I think is going to be a interesting game for a couple of reasons I still favor Texas but I think Clemson can win this game cause talent isn’t the issue it’s been consistency for Clemson is what cause their collapse at the end of the regular season had they not collapsed like the playoffs bracket most likely would have been 1. Oregon 2. Clemson 3. Georgia 4.
