I am 38 and still not married, as i feel I am not physically, mentally, emotionally and financially fit and ready for it. This is the reason I say that marriage is not for everybody. If u really wanna have a family, u have to be strong in the 4 categories i mentioned above. If you are unable to protect yourself, how will you protect your family. From ancient times till now, people take marriage as a child's play. Even now i can see that most people look at the age to get married, but are they physically, mentally, emotionally and financially strong? Do they have the capacity to deal with it? These things they will ignore. And when troubled times come, they will drink, smoke a lot, fall for domestic violence, and much worse, it will lead to a divorce. Remember marriage is a commitment and your spouse and kids would be dependent on you. They will look after you. So you have to be strong first. I am not suggesting this only for males. Even for females it applies.

I am now 30 years old and when I look over my life I realize that my faith in God and adherence to my deep rooted Christian principles, never wavering from my core beliefs, has ensured my well being all along the way.
