very insightful video for anyone who is looking to make an entreprenurial shift. Really liked the way self reflection, financial freedom and work life balance is discussed in the entreprenurial journey.
Great information regarding different aspects of consulting using practical examples. Video can be little bit more clean. Some pointers and graphics need to be added on the screen to make it more interactive and keep the viewers engaged.
A decent summary and comparison of the various models.
Is there a way/method to gauge what is one's optimal motivation - what are some of the indicators before we slip into our danger zones and start grappling with a variety of coping mechanism? Shorter version of the question: how can we ensure an optimal motivation at all times?
Ensuring optimal motivation all the time is simply not possible and practical. What you can do is provide an environment for optimal motivation for e.g. supportive staff behaviour and relevant goal settings. To give you another perspective, motivation is lowered when the perceived input of a person is more than the perceived output. For e.g. when an individual feels that the effort they are putting in is simply not worth the output.
Thank you for the response, Ansab. How do we then prevent motivation from lowering due to increased stress or tension (vs lack of enough stress) where the individual feels lack of appropriate output or appreciation. It would a work culture thing or may even be a very person specific thing - what practices (or culture traits) can we install to quickly identify and fix it. Also, the amount and type of stress that people can take is very individualistic - how can we uniquely identify it for people/ourselves... a questionnaire, a conversation, education, family background, etc.
To be really honest. You can deal with personality clashes. One has to be scape goat for sake of business
