@@TheGingerCatFilms aw of course! Keep making content, this community def needs it. I was thinking alot about that today actually and I think there's alot of reasons why the lps community hasn't seen much resurgence but one of the biggest is the tiktok culture. It's very very hard to make series and skits in a community where unboxings and using trendy sound bites gets the most views.

@@LyricsInTheSky late on my response but ABSOLUTELY yes! Short-form content is taking over the internet and it seems like nobody has the attention span for long-form content like UA-cam content anymore and you can even see it in the mainstream, UA-camrs (of all kinds) are quitting left and right because people just aren’t consuming and engaging with the content anymore :/

@@TheGingerCatFilms exactly!! I am so glad it isn't just me who notices it. I really miss how things were before tiktok, people were alot more engaged and were so creative. Kids have such short attention spans now too it's crazy. They don't even play with toys anymore

No, I am not unfortunately. I have never heard of catstarstudios, I only have one UA-cam channel and this it it. 😊 And as for every other platform I’m on, my name is always a variation of TGCFilms. EDIT: I just looked up catstarstudios and I remember her omg!! I’m subscribed to her lol I guess I just forgot about her channel since she stopped making videos. I’m taking the catstarstudios accusation as a huge compliment because I absolutely loved everything on her channel back in the day.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I think it’s *possible* to make a new/refreshing high school trope series but yeah by this point I think it’s just better to find other stories to tell lol. Plus plot-wise if you have aged up characters there’s a lot more you can do with the story because now you have characters that are directly responsible for their own actions, heightening the stakes of their mistakes in the storyline and making the conflicts more interesting.

Honestly you’re so valid for the Main 5’s, even though it would be cool to see like an armadillo as a main character or something like that I can understand why that’s never the case. Have you watched My Blue Juliet by lpssage? I recommend it to everyone! You could also give It’s A Deal by Lps Trooper Studios a try. It’s currently ongoing. There’s also Four of a Kind by I believe it’s plutopawsLPS? In my opinion My Blue Juliet is the best lps series pretty much ever, so definitely give that one a try first. I swear by it. It’s so beautiful, it’s a little slow at first but eventually the pace picks up and it’s such a good watch!

@@Okthatscool39392It’s hard to explain without spoiling it completely, but essentially it starts off as what seems like a regular high-school drama but by mid season one to beginning season two becomes a big mystery about a huge secret impacting the entire city Juliet lives in. The first season is cool because it sort of builds the characters so that when the “real” plot / non-social related conflict happens you already have an established understanding of the characters. Also Juliet’s character is one of my favorite portrayals of mental health adversity in the lpstube space as well and the way My Blue Juliet tackles depression in particular is so good. I couldn’t rave enough about how much I love that series omg

My absolute, ALL-TIME favorite lps series EVER is easily My Blue Juliet by lpssage. I believe it’s 2 seasons long if I’m remembering correctly and it’s one of the most beautiful pieces of art I’ve ever watched. It’s a little slow to start, so you have to watch the first ten episodes and sort of “get into it” before you start to love it but I promise you it’ll blow your mind. The cinematography and story are beautiful.
