The day I bought my bike I was actually going to the dealer to get a scooter, a larger one, but nonetheless a scooter. I was trying to avoid a sport bike but the color scheme brought me back to the 80’s and I couldn’t walk away from it. I’ve got closer to 3,500 miles on the Yamaha now and zero regrets. It’s a blast. I get sore after about an hours ride, I’ve learned to pull over at 45 minutes or so and stretch to avoid the pain. I’ve had some pretty crazy runs already on this thing, work was sending me out all over the damn place😒 but it brought my skill level up fairly fast. This place is a circus on the freeway

@@PoodlehawkFPV ya same. About an hour is good I've done 480miles both ways two times. Wouldn't want to do farther than that unless I got a cruiser.

@TorontoFPV I’m definitely considering adding a dual sport to the garage. They look much more comfortable for long adventures but I love this little bike and for now it’s exactly what I needed. Thanks for sharing your experience

@@PoodlehawkFPV yeah, it was like it from new , it starts up like a whining baby, then settles to a cheap ass china fan on boot up! I just run it all at 720p standard, i can see well enough like that, the video i posted yesterday, i dont think youve seen it, but that is the mamba ultra and the normal pheonix 2 from 3 years ago with a well used speedybee mmcx, i couldnt believe it, almost low end digital or 540p

@@rcaddict9558 I watched it, analog is good, it will always have a place. I just love the image quality from WalkSnail. I have one of them JB cams in my old HGLRC Rekon, and the Darwin Johnny 5. It’s a good camera and takes a beating. They don’t break as easy as the digital stuff seems to.

@@PoodlehawkFPV I’ve had a motorcycle all my life. I sold my last one 13 years ago when my little girl was born. I’ve been shopping for the past few weeks. I won’t have the money for another 2 weeks. But that’s my plan.

@@PoodlehawkFPV that is so cool! there is a park just like that about 10 miles from my house, but not nearly as beautiful. I found some rc guys that go there every weekend so I"m hoping to get some footage there soon. I'm looking forward to seeing more footage from this place, hopefully you'll get to chase some bikers/skaters/rc cars :)

@@BartManDude I’m gonna try but it’s an hours drive from my place. Worth the drive but I’ve got to have everything planned out and catch all the action in one day. There’s so many things to go explore out here. The more I ride around and drive for work, the more I see. It’s crazy how much is right in my area that I didn’t know existed until recently. FPV opens up a whole new world that’s been right here all along

It’s the largest off leash dog park west of the Mississippi River. It’s a private park that you’ve got to pay membership fees for but it’s epic. Also, it’s the old landfill for the city.

Super happy you got into the hobby. Welcome to heaven and hell😂 To answer your question, I’ve been using a larger 1800mah CNHL 4s battery I’ve had that I don’t like to strap to my quads cause it’s heavy. I read somewhere that you should use 4s. Oscar Liang has some fantastic information on WalkSnail and the goggles X. The goggles definitely use some power, so you’re gonna want a large capacity battery. I hope you have a blast on your adventures!! Thanks for the question and watching my crap😂

I’m having trouble when my buddy plugs in his DJI quad. That seems to cause major interference in my signal to the point that it has caused me to crash a few times even if I’m fairly far away from him. I’m still on an older version of firmware so it could have been addressed but I’m not certain. I love the image though and it has been a blast to fly but I wish it was more solid.

@@PoodlehawkFPV maybe you buddy should be on another channel and not 1200mw when plugging in. DJI will blast rf at plugin to handshake with the bound vtx. Walksnail does a similar thing, but I've never had a DJI pilot crash on plug-in. Just separate channels, keep distance and communicate when one of you plugs in so either of you can hold for a sec and not crash at full throttle. This is how these systems work unfortunately. I flew analog before this, shenanigans when a DJI pilot would plug in with 0 warning and on or close to the same channel .

@@FATSNAIL-FPV I’m new to digital and never had my analog get stomped on the way this walksnail does but we have been doing as you’ve said, communication is super helpful. I love analog still and still fly it when I want to go small. Thanks for watching bud!

I was wondering if I could just replace the lens? I’m definitely gonna see if I can find one. I run stock BetaFlight rates but I have the master multiplier up to 1.3 and it’s okay. It’s almost always windy here but do you think I could tune out the prop wash somehow? I think I put MouseFPVs tune on this thing when I first got it going.

Yeah, it was poking way out. Took all the force. My fault for trying to skip it off the ground again. Should have just done the one.
