Could you suggest a good quality wine similar to a Reisling type please
Hi Walter, Riesling is high acid and highly aromatic and can range from bone dry to very sweet. I'm going to guess that you enjoy the aromatic properties of Riesling, which is why you're asking. Nice alternatives can be Vouvray (a Chenin Blanc from Loire that can be a dead ringer for Rieslng), Albariño from Spain, and even Sauvignon Blanc, which is also high acid with fruity, aromatic character. I hope this helps! Cheers! Erin
Thank you so much for your tips. I'm so glad I found you. Happy Holidays!!!
I'm so happy you did too! - Erin
Works but takes time
Unfortunately, yes, it does take a few minutes to get out all the seeds, but it is the easiest way I have found. If you have a better method, I'm all ears! :) Erin

CONTENT STARTS AT: 2:38! 🌟 Slowly pour Soda Water liberally over stain. Blot and repeat. Rinse in cold water. 🌟 Put stained clothing on bowl or over top of bowl (small stains). Cover stain in lots of salt, boil kettle, slowly drizzle boiling water over stain from outside to middle. Repeat of required. Rinse in cold water. 🌟 Mix 1ml detergent w/ 50ml peroxide (3-5%). Dab, blot (not rub) with cotton bud over stain. Add more, repeat. Old stains: takes 1-2hr. New stains: 5-20min. Rinse in cold water. 🌟 Note: using Vinegar and Bicarb may turn your stain red to blue! Be careful!

Just found your channel and I've already watched four or five of your videos fantastic work! I really needed this motivation too! Can I ask you how many days in advance can I make the mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner and then just microwave them? Is that against the rules?
OMG, you are so sweet. Thank you for the kind words and I'm so happy to have you here! For mashed potatoes I personally prefer to make them while the resting. However, you can make them in advance. When it's time to reheat, put the mashed in a saucepan over med-low heat, with a splash more milk/cream and a dollop of butter. Cover and gently cook until they're back to being smooth and creamy. Other TDay items that hold up well to advanced prep: any baked goods that can be frozen (pies, cookies, rolls etc.), soups (freeze for a week or two or keep in the fridge for a few days), salads and veg sides (make the dressing a day before, and chop all the veg the day before), assemble casseroles and either freeze for a few weeks, or assemble the day before and store in the fridge overnight. I hope this helps! We'll have a lot more ideas for Christmas dinner coming up in the next few weeks so stay tuned! 🥂 Erin

Yum..looks amazing and elegantly easy..I may have missed it but how are the beans eaten? Like chips..on crackers?
Hi Carolyn, we just serve them like chips or nuts! Put a cocktail fork or spoon in the bowl and let guests eat them as they are! (But if you wanted to top a crostini with the beans, it's your party!) 🥂 Erin

Isn’t the making of orange wine essentially how to produce rose wine
sort of! Orange wine is simply skin-contact white wine. Normally, white wines don't require any contact with the skins, because, well, they're white. Red and rosé wines get their colour from the skins soaking with the skins for a little or long time. When white grapes are left with their skins, there's a reaction that turns the clear juice turns orange. Hope that helps! 🥂 Erin
Lots to absorb but informative😊
It is A LOT, but hopefully it helps make food and wine planning easier! 🥂 Erin
Hi, here is Modena and i was looking for a cocktail to make with our Lambrusco. Grazie!!! Give us more.

How much pumpkin puree????
Hi Sandy! Sorry about that... it's 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree. You can find the written recipe on our blog with all the measurements as well. www.thewinesisters.com/blog/category/recipes-and-food/fall/post/homemade-pumpkin-spice-syrup Let me know if you make this! Erin
Correct me if I’m wrong…. But isn’t that a wine glass 🍷 not a sparkling wine 🥂 glass?
Good eye, Ally! You're absolutely correct! A lot of sommeliers and restaurants now prefer to pour bubbly into wider bowl (ie: regular wine) glasses. The reason being is that it allows you to appreciate the aromas better than a narrow flute will allow. This video was taken right before a sparkling wine class that I teach at a College in Toronto and this is the glass we use for wine appreciation. However, for my home entertaining, I must admit I love the stylish look of a nice flute. Cheers! 🥂 Erin
Would love more ice awesome

What about upholstery?
thanks; beautifully presented. I am not sure with me whether it is wine or blood stain. I always wear an apron while in kitchen and at table................baffled where stain came from on my warm jacket (save heating bills)
