Marines FIGHTING LOADOUT
Переглядів 19 тис.26 днів тому
What's in the Marines Fighting Load? Two infantrymen dive into NavMac 3500.44D to go over what's in our fighting load and some techniques and tips on how we use it.
That's crazy that the Army is going back to training in just chest rigs. When I was in 05-12 all training was in body armor, well at the unit level anyway. Some courses were still in chest rigs. Love the channel though. Need more Infantry content that helps transfer knowledge and improves the culture. I hope young grunts and junior NCOs are taking advantage as well as the guys who support them.
So many different possible threats these days when patrolling must be a nightmare , marpat and coyote gear go very well in that environment 💯
I was a scout in the army and still have a hard on for recon stuff subbed. Can’t beat shitting in a bag and watching people for days at a time 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Can’t wait for more long form🤙🏻
Super great info. Helps teach the basics and highlight simple fundamentals. Thanks for sharing.
Loving the content guys keep up the good work!
Love this. I am currently trying to self build a cobra hood out of an old BDU top. I would love to see a video on your self made Cobra hood, how you made it, and what has worked for you. It’s definitely more time consuming, but I am learning how to sew and work with garments in the process, so it’s a nice project.
Good info . I hear a lot of people taking how good the Amazon cobra hoods can be for the price.
Thanks boys
Great info, channel is coming along very nicely🔥
Motor oil and non lithium grease mixture is gonna be a lot better, used them running a gun team for a very long time, you can play with the mixtures for different temps if it's hot or freezing temps. It won't evaporate like clp does . I've found it to be incredibly reliable and more cost effective as you can buy the stuff anywhere
can you please use black to hide face, watching this is painful for me and triggers my migraine, thanks
I have CLP in a meo juice squirt bottle. I learned that from that 0331 guy on Garand Thumb. I put one in every chest rig, assault pack and rucksack I own
Please keep doing these fundamental infantry videos. Super helpful as a pog that frequently gets attached to ground guys, but doesn't have mentors to learn from.
Heading to AIC in Jan, any word of advice? What to expect? Loving your channel, thank you, keep up with the content! 🙏 God bless.
@@ermias9225 DBAB and put in the work during the time you do have off, to focus on orders and fine tuning class SOP.
Veg is the edge
Have you ever had a bore snake rope break off mid way down the barrel? That happened to me and I haven’t used a bore snake since
I have. Switched back to USGI Cleaning Rods, and picked up some of the Otis cables.
@@justinblair7080 not to me, but that’s why I always carry punch rods just in case,
4:16 LMAO what happened
If there’s a squib a bore snake won’t cut it
@@grnnrhanes4005 check out our fighting load video we go over what’s in a solid cleaning kit.
That is not how you are supposed to oil a bcg
First part of the video that wasn’t shown here we go over lubricating the parts of the BCG that wear against other metal.
😂 ok Cheeto fingers
@@Knight-Sgt-Ryhs did you call me Cheeto fingers?
Been out the Corps 24 years and still use CLP on my rifles and hand guns.
What knee pads are you using?

@@ForTheInfantryThanks brother bear, keep up the awesome work! Your fellow 03’s appreciate you guys and all the work ya’ll put into this.
Are you guys in the scout platoon ? Also, I love the videos keep up the great work.
@@peleclipse6672 can’t confirm or deny, appreciate the support man.
Eye pro yes think about every time you fire there a explosion going of inches from you're eyes. And of course gloves are a given not just a hot gun everthing seems to be harder that your hands . Damaged hand Damaged fighting. Lol i just invested in 2 pair of marine gloves because of the wrist cover. I haven't used them yet.
Question Do you still have the option to carry the KBAR knife ?
Thank you for all your time & info
There was 2 cops that was in a roadside shoot out. Not only out gunned but the FBI figure they was both killed because they was taught to clean up the brass so much in training. They both had clean piles of there brass next to them. The bad guy walked up and shot them. They may have been concerned about collecting there brass. Getting in trouble for dropping a mag made think of this sad story.
Yes i carry a extra bolt for my AR 15 & My AR 10 plus a small kit of repair parts
If the pacific kicks off chyna is going to be so surprised ! Are marines have been practicing combat for over 20 yrs through real combat.
Just a question. Would it often be the case that a Marine Commander would add at least one warming layer to the Assault load? Something relatively light like a waffle top for example. Or are the loads set in stone? I'm only asking because if the Assault load is supposed to sustain a Infantryman until RESUP can be brought forward they are going to be sweating buckets during the assault and the consolidation phase. When they go static they are not generating body heat and their sweat soaked clothing will get real cold, real fast. Hypothermia can take troops out of the next battle even in mild conditions. Having a dry top to change into (especially during the night)would seem like a no brainer. Not a criticism. Just an observation.
@@barrysheehan7519 so the short answer is often times infantrymen bring a lot of things that are not in the assault load, anyway. If you’re going by the baseline loadout, it includes gortex top and bottom, when combined with a utility or frog blouse can be a warming layer. I would suggest when it’s getting below 40° to bring a poly pro and waffle top. One to sleep in one to move in.
What brand pouch is that for your NVG. Thanks

Y'all's comment about wanting to carry as many grenades as possible made me chuckle. I remember talking to a few WWII and Korea vets who said they would have one or two guys in the squad who had a bag full of grenades for squad use (in addition to the 4-5 carried by every individual-- the bag also contained xtra BAR mags in some cases). IIRC they used a GP ammo bag, empty gas mask bag, or a musette bag --basically any over the shoulder bag with a large carrying capacity.
Shit hot gents🤙
Hey, so im interested in joining the military after highschool, i either want to do Rangers or MARSOC, I honestly am torn between the two, can you give me some reasons to do marines instead or some insite on the best combat divisions in the marines?
@@ForkliftCertified69 what are you interested in? Infantry things or sneaky squirrel stuff?
@ForTheInfantry What's the stuff you're doing? That's the stuff I like 😁
@@ForkliftCertified69 it’s the infantry man, if you’re down with spending 50% of your life in the field, 25% cleaning the barracks and the other 25% doing marine net classes the infantry is where it’s at.
@ForTheInfantry What do you recommend I should do if I take the MARSOC route?
@ not sure man, special operations never interested me. Rangers would be the only thing I’d recommend. We joke that those guys are Marines just with a larger budget.
Semper fucking Fi boys
Great video, awesome quality, and information. Can you do a rucksack video next?
@@Tovashi already filmed.
@ForTheInfantry Always faithful 😎
Great content. Keep it simple 💯
Really useful, informative and underrated channel. It’s very interesting to compare US military SOP with our old and modern tactics&procedures. Oh yeah - greetings from Ukraine! P.S. Don’t forget about aerial drone surveillance 😉
What type of quad rail handguard was on the tan rifle? Anyone know?
And these guys cite the T&R manual. I hope yall can make videos for Marines going to attend courses like AIMC or ISULC.
Will do, one of our guys is Advanced school and ISULC qualified.
@ I think the Marines would really like that. In a perfect world, a vid for tips for success for each advanced course at AITB would be awesome for the younger Marines. But that’s a lot. Thank you for the videos.
Wow did even see him lay down thought it was a 3rd guy already there 😅
Awesome job
you guys have faces like japanese porn
you guys and TheGruntPerspective are my favorite channels. being a pog and never really working with infantry due to being in the reserves with a AABN. give me a huge perspective of the wider MC. I'm out now due due to injuries I was unable to keep going but this info is is still nice to know and learn.
army mortarman here, love seeing stuff both on the marine corps side and on the rifleman side of things, did not learn this type of stuff in OSUT at all. searching techniques, microterrain etc weren't emphasized or taught at all
Semper Fi young brothers, 1/2 and 3/1 99-11. Good stuff and enjoy the changes being made. People outside are always amazed when they realize the amount of weight placed on 18 and 19 year old young men, when the rest of the world cant figure out what bathroom to use or explain what a woman is.
Hell yah, Brothers!!! Keep it up! Next Episode: Knockout a Bunker!
The practical application is GOLDEN!!! Please do more!!!
Rah boys, this almost makes me miss it. Almost 😂
Great content. What do you suggest to mitigate ticks in the pine woods?
Shave everything. Become hairless
@ bwahaha
Apply bug juice at the interval specified by the manufacturer or earlier. Use permethrin on everything. Wear long sleeved clothing. That’s all you can really do.
@@Stealingiscaring yup thats basically it :/
Be a man.
Good work here 🤙
Ex British infantry only done 6 years joined at 16 left at 22 after an injury in Iraq and other things , I'm now 37 but anything to do with the infantry still gets my interest like no other and gets my adrenaline going , being an infanteer was my first love blood sweat and tears , being at the top of your game as an infanteer is like art when it's done right you got to live and breathe it with all your soul for sure .
