I feel that Maelstrom linking you in their community posts says something important as Maelstrom is a Sky Creator Troupe Member (AKA an official unofficial partner group of and therefore official unofficial affiliation with representation of TGC) . There's a lot of thoughts in the sky community regarding the issues of the game. One of these thoughts is that those in the creator troupe may struggle to speak out on these issues, due to several factors including NDAs, the fact that being affiliated with a company means your reputation, and the company's reputation are somewhat tied together to some extent, even if it's small, and the concern about supposed "white knights" who often defend TGC a lot, which may come from the feeling that if they appeal to TGC, their voices will be heard. This doesn't mean a Creator Troupe Member can't criticize the game or TGC, only that it would be harder to do so. In addition they may not be experts in this stuff and legalese. This means that they may mean that even if they wanted to do something like what you're doing, they are facing another barrier in skill and knowledge. By you making the video and by Maelstrom linking to your video you both provide players with A. Someone who while is not an expert, does have more knowledge on the subject at hand, of and thus is more qualified in this than the general public and Creator Troupe Members. Meaning they can provide a more accurate and fair view on the issues at hand. B. A safe space to address these issues without directly affecting Maelstrom, or the company they are affiliated with in the process, and a space for players to develop their own knowledge base. Knowledge is power and power is knowledge, which means by you providing a source of knowledge you help people gain more autonomy over their situation, and help to equalize the power levels in this case between the companies on top, and the players on the bottom. If one can't open the conversation themselves easily, they might be able to provide a door to someone else that can. Thank you Shards for providing this information and thank you for Maelstrom for providing that door to it. You are both doing what you can to make this community a better place. Even if it means we also fall asleep while watching your video.

My understanding (not legal by any means) of matchmaking here is the matching between players to be in the same server rather than dating, it's more used within multilayer competitive games, such as MOBAs, for example DotA or League of Legends, but does to an extent exist in Sky to decide which other 7 players you get merged with while playing Sky (server merges etc.) rather than matchmaking in a dating service sense. The EULA I believe (now again not a legal understanding) is that you may not use 3rd party tools, hacks, etc. to create your own matchmaking service, E. G. disrupting players from joining others, or forcibly joining others, as griefers may want to do, especially for things such as "stream sniping", so disrupting a streamer from joining their friends. This is more of an issue in competitive gaming, but could be an issue in Sky if someone wanted to forcibly join a former friend they were blocked by, and making themselves a nuisance, or stopping a streamer from joining their friends to grief them.
