Hello! Welcome to my channel! I am an adult collector of American Girl Dolls with a background in fashion design. I'm excited to share my collection and my original doll clothing designs with you. I'm so glad it was helpful to you. After I posted this video, one of my viewers commented that they got a doll from goodwill.com with terrible pet odors. So, beware! I still think it's worth the risk. 😃
My favorites were Raven Merlot for 91, Kay on MG (with Raven Merlot as a second) and I surprised myself by liking the Berrylicious most on Julie. BTW, I think the wig you're thinking of that I put on Margot (our rewigged Julie) is also from Zazou. It's called Erin and idk if it's in stock right now, but she usually gets it back in. It's the "vegan mohair" style and is thinner, but it's so precious!!

A far fetched idea as a third dress for Merida could be her dress as a child. It is in the Brave movie- the very beginning. And in Frozen 1 we saw Elsa and Anna’s little girl dresses. Or maybe nightgown/pajamas from that period?
I think those are all great ideas! I don't see why they can't use some of the dresses the characters wore as children. After all, AG dolls are meant to be children. I guess we'll just have to wait and see! And, I love the idea of giving characters who don't have enough looks pajamas!

I really like these wigs too! Some of my favorite styles are Onyx, Brown Magic, and Gingersnap! So my thoughts are...On Doll #1 Raven then berry merlot, doll #2 berrylicious or warm caramel fudge, doll #3 berrylicious, kay or warm caramel fudge! Have fun!

Just me, but in my opinion, the older MG mold is a bit different and better. I personally would not send her to the hospital for that reason. Doll#1 looks best in the purple streaked wig/ followed closely by the braids. #2 looks best in the shoulder-length brown wig. Three looks best in the Carmel/chocolate. These are just my humble opinions! Thank you!😊

I love this - the idea is creative, the video quality is great and the instructions clear. Thank you for sharing these solutions with us. I was watching the instacrate one and thinking you could make it one of those photo booths like you see in malls or at some wedding receptions. That could be so fun!

Great video! I use an upright PAX wardrobe for my “dollhouse.” I use the removable wall feature all the time and I even use it for my floors. For the floors, I used cardboard (from unpacking the wardrobe) to make the flooring so it wouldn’t crush as foam board can.

I think American Girl should give you royalties for thinking all these dolls up! They are wonderful! (Just when I was telling myself I couldn’t buy any more 🙄)
I understand these are predictions but Claudie should stay in the skin tones of herself and Tianna. There are enough mold that can be used for the Princess you suggested. Same for Kaya some of the signature faces should stay signature. I agree about Truly me 4 should be Mulan except the hair. Good video.

I am SO excited for Merida, AG practically confirmed that she is coming out soon, and yes, Marie-Grace would be so perfect for her 😃, Joss would also work. I'm gonna bet we're very likely getting Anna & Elsa as collector dolls this holiday season and releasing Moana about that time would make sense since her movie comes out in November. I don't think she'll be a collector doll though because she is a huge hit with kids right now and would sell out instantly as a play-line doll! I'd buy her myself too! I am really hoping for a Mulan doll this year, since it is Year of the Dragon and Mushu is a (tiny 😄) dragon!! She's also one of my most favorite princesses! I would think they would release Aurora this year since it's her 65th anniversary, but maybe not. I was hoping for a new princess wave this month but so far nothing. 😕 🤞
I didn't know it is Aurora's 65th! Great info. Maybe she will get released this year instead of Snow White! I'm disappointed new princesses didn't come out June 2nd with that big release party but maybe soon! After all, they released the last three very shortly after the last 5 truly Me dolls. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I so want Merida. And, yes, I can definitely see them doing the Frozen girls as Collector dolls. They'd sell like crazy! And, as much as I don't like the $300 price point, Elsa is perfect for a Swarovski crystals collaboration. Thanks for watching!

Both of those would be awesome! I too am hoping they branch into other Disney characters. I'd love to see them do Alice in Wonderland too. Her collection would be amazing! Marie-Grace and Cécile came new with loose limbs. Cécile is my loosest doll. To save some money, restring her yourself and just get a new head.
That's my plan as of now. I'm waiting to see what the new release is going to be next week and then, if I have any $ left, I think I'll send her in. lol! Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for sharing your experience with shopgoodwill! I have looked on there as well, but have noticed that most of the characters in decent condition tend to get bid up so high that it’s not worth the risk for me personally considering that their photos are not always great and you never know what you are getting since you can’t ask questions or anything. I keep checking hoping to find a deal though!
Was Marie Grace eye lashes cut too?
No, her eyelashes actually look pretty good. Should I harvest her eyes and just keep looking for another MG? Or, do you think it's worth sending her to the doll hospital? I don't have a good feel yet for how much she's worth or how hard she is to find. I so appreciate any advice you have. Thanks for watching!
@@StylasStudioDollsA Marie-Grace in good condition with her meet goes for around $100-$120. Depending on how much you paid for her it definitely may be worth sending her in for a new head. I bought very cheap TLC dolls for Elizabeth and Caroline, and sent them in for new heads. They came out great, and it was cheaper than buying a doll in good condition!

The second doll appears to be number 12 as her tag says she's from 2013. Gwen was released alongside GOTY Chrissa for 2009. She looks so similar though! Very cute

They are literally the same doll otherwise. AG used 12 as Gwen. They just redressed her.
I bought one that smelled like pet urine! You could even see the stains! I did return her & didn't pay return fees. I just wasn't sure if I could get the smell out! I have been hesitant since then!

i had something similar on ebay .. bought a lot of Samantha stuff .. the doll & a lot of her clothes & acc.. anyhow the doll itself had a terrible smell .. almost like BO :. i’ve tried everything from sticking her in a box full of dryer sheets & tried soap bars .. i finally am going to make her my first rehab doll.. just taking her all apart & cleaning the best if anyone has any idea please let me know!!

I've bought cyo dolls from shopgoodwill online and usually it can be hit or miss but I have gotten them for really low prices sometimes when they aren't labeled cyo but somehow I knew ❤
