2005 Chevy Aveo Steering Knuckle Replacement - How to Fix a Wheel Bearing (and some other parts)
Follow along as I clumsily show you how to change a steering knuckle on a 2005 Chevy Aveo. The wheel bearing was bad, and I don't have a press or know anyone with a press. So... I bought the whole steering knuckle for like $100 on Amazon.

Of course, I broke some other parts in the process, and also ended up replacing the tie rod end and ball joint on the control arm.

My Hyundai accent 2005 is cranking but not starting. I sprayed starting fluid In the intake and it started up then died again. A new fuel pump and housing like the one here is like 375-600. How can I make sure it’s the fuel pump and not something else. Fuel relay is working, I feel a click. Tried taking out the fuel pump fuse but didnt come out easy with my hands and I didn’t have the right tool.
I think you can rent or buy a fuel pressure gauge from the auto parts store and check it against the specs, but I checked mine by unfortunately replacing all the cheaper parts first

My 2003 Hyundai accent, is having trouble accelerating from 3rd gear. Do you think that would also be a fuel pump issue? I don’t have a hard time starting the car and I just replaced the spark plugs. Just not sure where to go next
Just third gear? Is it manual or automatic? Do you hear anything out of the ordinary when it happens?

yes, I also found it to be part of the fuel pump assembly
@@shootawayne6543 hey buddy, if you’re still having problems, I think I just fixed mine. It turned out to be the crank sensor and it’s pretty easy to change.
@@shootawayne6543 I could use starting fluid and my car would start and run fine but that was the only way I could start it and then eventually the starting fluid stopped working and I read on a form online that it was a crank sensor and mine is working now without starting fluid
Check fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse under hood before taking out back seat. The relay should click when turning the key to start. The fuel pump fuse is not actually labelled fuel pump, so difficult to find. There is also a fuel pump test port in fuse box.

I think it is, because I bought a fuel filter separately, couldn't find any info on it, but then ended up buying the entire pump mechanism instead

My daughter just got this car and her fuel gauge is stuck on full. Yours also appears to have this issue? Did this fix it???
You need the original fuel pump to fix this issue 100%.
There is a float on the fuel pump, and the replacement is slightly different than the original, enough that you have to turn the pump slightly to allow the float to function correctly. I realize there are other things that cause this issue, but that's what was happening to mine. I had to take it back apart to fix it

Yeah, we did primer first on everything we painted.
