If that hole is a drop vent for the gas you shouldn't have it covered with carpet ,so if there was a leak the gas can drop out of the living area.😊😊😊
Lovely bike always fancied one
I am so Jealous of you in your little van.... How much have you guys been drinking -
Men are men, and the sheep are worried
Ha ha 3 years ago now but it was quite a lot I think 🤔
Good stuff Tim! CB400 sounds so sweet. Now, about my Blackbird Cam Chain Follower lol
On the button
It’s a credit to you I love to see restorations people just scrap things and it’s such a shame you have made it into a little beauty
Ahh thanks did you watch the restoration as well?
Awesome vlog, thoroughly enjoyed all 4 episodes. Fair play.. You are punching above your weight, with the delightful Suzy. Good luck, ride safe.
Ha ha thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed 👍😃
Beautiful car! My parents owned this car back in the day. Found pictures of my parents sitting on the hood of this car and my Mom sitting in the drivers seat looking out the window in another photo. I had to search to find out what car it was and found 1946 Chevrolet model 141 then found your video! My Dad went to work for Chevrolet in Saginaw, Michigan (United States) after the war in 1945. He worked for them for 32 years building transmissions. Wish I could share my photo here. Love seeing it come to life here in your video! Love the blue paint as well!
Must be great to have a woman that shows an interest in your interests, all I have is a woman that has a phone stuck to her face 24/7 and pulls stupid faces looking at it.
Greetings, from Southwest France. Really enjoyed the series. When this bike, referred to as a '400 four' was launched mid 70s, it was a very much admired mid-range four stroke alternative to the popular two stroke Suzuki GT380 and Yam RD400. As I remember it was a relatively quiet bike, quite unique really. Congratulations to you, for getting this old classic to run and sound close to the original. Getting the tappet adjustment spot on and balancing the carbs requires patience. Impressive how practical and authentic your work is, managing to keep the costs sensible. Big Thanks to you Tim!
Big thanks for watching. Hopefully more coming next year 😁
Happy New year Tim. Hope it's a good one for you.👍😁
Thanks Philip Happy New Year to you too
Lovely bike 😊
Thanks 🤩
Really enjoyed this. It's just great to see these machines brought back to life. I like the compressed air / bi-carb cleaning technique. Thanks a bunch!
I’m really glad you enjoyed. There are lots of tips in all my videos. I don’t mind telling people my secrets, who are prepared to watch my videos. Thanks for watching.
What camera do you use
Jus an iPhone
Very nice to buddy enjoy
Nice job on that!! Looking sweet. 😊
NICELY DONE ✔ 🙌 😊
Thanks a lot 👍
Great honest channel here and some nice bikes you've worked on, I first saw your bandit vid as I just bought a very similar bandit ('99 600s, faired one), subbed
Thanks for subscribing and your compliments of the channel. Much appreciated
Wishing you a merry Christmas Tim. Hope all's well with you, hope to see some more videos from you next year.👍🎅
Thank you Philip. Happy Christmas to you too. More on way soon 👍
A job well done 👈👍👌
Thanks 😀
Hi Tim I’ve watched all your videos and really enjoyed how you do them if you make a mistake you show it. Well done on your last build and can’t wait until the next 👊🏻
Thanks for the feed back and for watching 😃 much appreciated
I have a ‘98 bandit, had it for about 8 years, as of 2024. Fuel tank lined. Steering bearings replaced, calipers refurbished, seat recovered. All cables replaced. Did the carbs in 2023, full of bacteria. Most of my work since has been cosmetic. Wheels and pillion handles powder-coated. Currently working on the fuel cap ring/surround. Factory - Aluminium. Surface coating/paint failed, and it is corroded and stained with black spots that will not clean off. CNC in 316 stainless is a work in progress. Prototype 2 currently being 3D printed to check dimensions. I think I have it right this time. Stainless steel with machining marks (on purpose) is the desired goal.
when’s the next video mate?
Ehhhh 🤷🏻♂️ ha ha hopefully soon. I’ve got more projects waiting, it’s just starting one. I hope you enjoyed this one.
absolutely loved it mage
Just watched your vid from 3 year ago how did it perform the air suspension have you still got your van
No sorry it’s sold now but yes it performed well after fitting the air suspension. Made a huge difference to the ride and how it sat
It's a bobby dazzler.👍
I have the C15 Romahome, identical inside to your Rascal version, happy days hay!
Top job well done! 😊
Thanks 😃
Awesome videos, but....Can you please put them in a PLAYLIST...? Thank you. It's not too bad on a desktop, although it would still be nice to have a playlist. However, on AppleTV it is *IMPOSSIBLE* to watch these in correct order as the titles get cut off. Thus, they are all just random episodes with no indication of which order they go in. If you dump them in a playlist it should take of the problem. I want to watch the whole series, probably more than once, but no playlist currently makes this impossible. Cheers
Oh ok I’ve not used play list. I’ll try to do it. The next part should come up on your TV at the end of the previous part at the end of the title.
That would be most appreciated. Looks like a great series and we just bought our first CB400 (a ‘76, here in Canada) so we will no doubt be referencing the videos often! Cheers.
@@mjsmailinglist I’ve managed to put it into a play list for you 👍
Brilliant job excellent work
Thanks
That’s a beautiful bike.
Hey thanks
Great stuff I really enjoyed watching you getting this back in the road. I'm away to buy one.
Thanks a lot for watching and I’m really happy that you enjoyed it
Mido 1.80 cm la cama es pequeña para 2 o no
It should be ok for you.
Oh Suzie! Nice to see a classic breathing again, good work!
Hate that king n queen seat 😝
Hi. Really enjoyed watching the series. I’m currently working on my 1972 CB450 USA import. Could you let me know what size is the number plate you have on your 400/4.
It’s 20 x 18 cm. Thanks a lot for watching 😀
I have a RHD 1946 chevy fleetmaster. Yep, gears can be a bit 'thingy' on occasion. It can get stuck in 3rd if you pull up in 3rd. Other than that it goes very well. I agree the steering is interesting. I've made some adjustments and the handling is loads better. A great car though.
Ahh I loved this one. Gone now but many happy memories left. You soon learn owning one of these
Bloody hell hey lol
great video have you still got it?
No sold now
Credit to you lad.
It is such a cute little van. All you need and nothing you don't. Love it
I don't know the climate your in but if it regularly rains get that little black fender of the front disc. You'll understand when you're in a real cloudburst.
Absolute beauty
Helpful tip for future leave the bike on choke longer let it warm up properly then it will tick over better. Good job on getting it running tho.
Thanks for the info
Cracking little van 👍
Genio, gracias amigo. Tengo una igual y es fantastica.
JIS is Japanese phillips head. North American Phillips strips the screws…
Nice looking classic
Awesome stuff!
Great details
childish and pathetic
