Moved away in 89, stumbled onto this video today 35 years later. Thanks for uploading. But I'm saddened to see Stour has had most of it's personality and charm sandblasted away. This could be virtually any other town now in the UK; Same shops and conveniences and the same annoying buskers it seems!

I searched online for a few buses traveling in different areas and checked also if I could see the same thing for Birmingham. This is like using Google Maps to find directions from A to B, but the only thing is it's as if it's live. By the way thank you very much Sinto for doing this. It's a good idea.

Looks very much like down town Erdington to me….i left England for the states back in 1982, I remember this route and passing Hycroft Mental institution back in the day, use have cousins that live a street or two from there….good old days fleeting by fast. Thank you Shinto Lee Tours for sharing this. My mom took me on the number 11 outer circle back in the seventies, we traveled the entire route back and forth, one of the greatest highlights of my life I tell you. I remember the drivers compartment door and all that noisy loose metal that used to surround the driver use to be so crazy , but I loved it.

never been a fan of walsall even though it is only 20 minutes drive away, even if I went there for a night out in the 1990s there always seemed to be a felling of tension around the place, the local lads all seemed to think they were a bit tasty with their fists and that was why I rarely went there. ended up one night one lad pretending to be 'door staff' trying to throw my then girlfriend out, when I challenged him to show me his ID he showed me his gym membership card, he took a swing at me and it bounced off my chin, like a salesman in B&Q asking if I wanted decking he found himself on the floor 2 seconds later, we left got a taxi and went to Wolverhampton and never had any issue. the same feeling I get these days just walking around the town, everything is shutting down, lots of lads with attitude problems but all in gangs who would melt like butter if they had to go one to one in a fight and little to no police to be seen, tbh its the last place I would go unless there was zero option

A fascinating journey travelling through Stourbridge & Wordsley, my home town where I lived most of my life before moving to Mid-Wales in 2008. It shows the Catholic church on the 'ring road' (can't remember the name) where my wife & I were married in 1960. There have certainly been lots of changes in that area, but nevertheless, it brought back some wonderful memories of my time living there.

how much has changed. Reemember the 241 bus and 140 passing through this town, also WMEC electrical shop sold the best hi-fi equipment in the world. I've still got a lot of it 35 years later and it's still operational
