Watching this in 2019, Jeff's insight and spot on predictions of the future (the present day to us now) is absolutely amazing and is why he is the world's richest man. He had a 100% correct vision of the future and he planned for it way in advance and now Amazon is reaping the benefits of that incredible insight. Genius dude.

These toxins are then dumped unprocessed into water systems in places like India and China. And the nature of globalization means cotton grown in America is shipped to China, and the finished products are then shipped back, leaving a long carbon footprint. Making a single pair of jeans wastes tons of water, pollutes the environment, and contributes to climate change. Bezos is saying, go ahead and waste as much resources as you want, we will support you. I hope he's changed his tune since this, because it's not a good sign for people living near processing plants, nor the planet in general.
