Hey everyone, thank you for tuning in to my channel. If you are a returning viewer than you probably know that I am walking 1000 Miles in 1 Year. IF you are new here then that's the deal. This day was a special day because after 125 days of walking I finally reached 300 miles. It's been a long time with a lot of hikes in-between but it's all been worth it. I've seen a lot of beautiful things and all kinds of wildlife. In this video alone I see two species of ducks that I had never seen before, hooded Meninger and ring-necked duck, and also a blue heron. WE also visit some ruins, and we do a lot of talking about land use. It's important to dedicate land to be utilized by people yes, but it is equally important to dedicate land for natural processes. Without these processes taking place, life here on Earth won't be sustainable. That why I always like to see places that balance human use and natural use as well. These two things don't have to be opposing sides, yet they often are pitted against each other. We need to find a good balance. #ducks #history #1000in1
