Haven’t made it through the first 60 secs but immediate thumbs up just based on the garage.
Thanks brother!! Appreciate it!
around the outside pass. that was sweet
Thanks bro. It was sketchy getting that done. I'm glad it was somewhat clean.
So i just made the switch from an R3 to an R6. I have only tried pushing it on track a few days ago. I get on the gas way earlier than a 636 but only just manage to hang on at corner exits. Perhaps better gearing will be my next step to develop the bike. The track is very stop/go at Clark International Speedway.
@@gerardjoaquino8856 sounds like an exciting time for you. It's a big change from an r3 to an r6. Can't go wrong with the r6, and yes gearing does help. I actually have multiple gear combination for the type of track and weather conditions. Also would love to go to Clark one day when I go visit back home.
did the kawi sell?
@@WindTherapyToday yes it did. Ended up selling to a buddy. And he absolutely loves it. He gel with the bike the first time out with it.
@@BAF-Racing man - i missed out! have you been down to our region and ride Mid-Ohio?
@@WindTherapyToday Unfortunately I havent yet. But, I do have plans to compete down there at some point. For now most of the available funding has gone to competition. For 2025 tho Ive been promoted to pro class so will focus on learning more from the pros, and would like to see how I stack up in the pros across the border.
Thank you for info 👍
Is the picture at 2:31 showing a 600cc or a 1000cc? I know there should be a difference in how a 600cc and a 1000cc perform on the track, which is why I’m asking.
Good luck

@@jonathansmit872 thanks bud! Appreciate it!
So awesome sharing the podium with you 🤘
hell yea buddy!!! too bad you cant join this weekend!
I actually was racing behind a guy like that, it's so frustrating when they block you during turns and then pick up speed on straights... my tactics was to be close on his rear wheel and unfortunately... I crashed, because he braked extremely soon and while i was trying to avoid him, I crashed and end up in hospital with broken collarbone
@@itshappening100 sorry to hear that. It's challenging to manage for sure, specially there's alot of championship points on the line. Were you up against higher HP bikes as well?
@@BAF-Racing no, it actually happened on Ohvale GP2... it was 160cc group, but he had pitbike and it was just fast... I bought Ohvale as an additional safe training to my Ducati... and ironically it was not safe at all, lol... I'm still recovering 3 months since surgery and didn't ride my bike since... i'm upset about myself that only now I discovered the dangers of this sport... a girl died few months ago on an amateur open track day and nobody even mentioned that, because it's not good for business, she supposedly passed out due to hot weather and crashed in a wall... everyone is fkn quiet... now recently as you know Luca Salvadori died
@@itshappening100 Oh wow!! wish you a speedy recovery!!. Yea those little bikes are just as dangerous. Thats terrible about that girl that passed away. You are absolutely right, this sport is dangerous. Everyone involved in racing has some understanding of that, its not something that we would want to happen but unfortunately is part of the sport. There are ways to lower that risk but at the end of the day the risk are still there. Every time im out on track, im always calculating the risk/reward. Its just a game of probability.
Better to finish than end up in hospital... so good job
@@itshappening100 thanks bro!! Appreciate that! I think so as well. Not worth ending up in a cast.
I was so confused when I turned around on the cool down lap and didn't see anyone 😅 Thanks for the footage!
@@Amazon599 I don't like this layout... Dunno why this layout is even an option for voting for the last round.
Those pros were moving!
@@675_Dreamer absolutely!! That's why I like this race cuz you get to learn from them. And the front runners in the pro I'd say are very competitive in terms of top Canadian talent.
You made a great choice in staying where you finished 👍🇭🇲🦘.
@@jimdiamond8246 I thought so as well. Before this race I had a 100% failure rate. So 2nd place finish is a good way to end a challenging weekend.
Thanks for posting. I enjoy watching y’all race

Thanks bud!! Appreciate it!!
You may have made a mistake but the way that you saved that was great so, really great driving
Thanks bro! Would have been better if I made it stick. But you're right, better than crashing out.
usually 600s are called supersports and 1000s are superbikes, is it different where you are racing? Keep it going, great content:)
@@sneakyfishyy yea that makes sense. But the Canadian national calls the 600's - "sport bike".
pogi!!!
@@PewLifeMoto lmao!!! Easy there pekpek slayer! That's how the wife got my attention.
It's crazy to thing it's a 600cc race yet some of the riders have way faster pace
@@paulmeek537 there are some bikes that are well sorted in terms of HP and other upgrades but skill level also has alot to do with it.
What a brutal race!
@@motosurgeofficial it was... That was a frustrating race for me since I expected better for myself. But it's not always gonna go your way. All I could do is reset, refocus, and retry.
@@BAF-Racing That's all you cold do given the circumstances. It's always very scary when you close up on someone and realize they're much slower to the point of rear ending them. You handled that well.
Do you have a video that breaks down costs?
@@ahmadzaitoun4360 no but definitely something I could do.

Where are you at bro?
@@moto_sauce hey bud! I'm based in southern Ontario Canada. What about you?
@@BAF-Racing I’m out in Texas bro
I was told don’t brake till you see god. But also there are two movements. In gas or on brakes nothing else.
@@famouslyfamous433 for me It was the trail braking that helped me pushed my braking marker deeper. Developing the trust that the front tire will hold as I enter hot into the corner. I felt that trying to brake deeper and deeper without training your trail braking first is a risky approach to improving barking. So like I mention. I had a conservative braking marker into corner with alot of runoff and worked on lighter brakes and trailing that deep into the corner. That help me slow down the process without my brain going into a panic mode. Then once I got comfortable with trail braking I realised that I could push my marker deeper and deeper. I guess everyone has their own way of learning but this one worked great for me.
@@BAF-Racing that’s also how I did it as well but I still struggle as I have kids so that’s always on my mind. I’m not winning money or doing it for a living so no need to push to hard for me.
I just noticed when you're launching, you pulled the clutch all the way in although you have a great start, is it more better to have it 1-2mm just before the biting point? Also, in the first corner, did you throttle up mid corner because the RPM jumped from 10k-12k mid corner or is it because you leaned and the RPM goes up?
you are right. I do have the clutch all the way in.. Its now a muscle memory for me on how much i release the clutch so this works best for me. and the RPM jumping. i believe thats my launch control limiting my rpm until i reached a certain speed.
Just be safe❤

Loved this video! Been riding for years and am a bit of a street warrior… 😂 I’ve had lots of bikes, my fastest being a BMW S1000RR, S1000R, Aprilia Tuono 1100 V4 Factory, ZX10R etc etc… BUT for my first track bike, I’m looking at the R6 and ZX6R (previously had one) Your info on the R6 was very valuable. I’ll probably look for 2012-2015 maybe even a previous salavage as it will only be used on the track anyway and it’s likely I’ll come off at some point. You’ve earned another subscriber by the way! Great content my guy!
@Ashley_James_ appreciate it bud!!! Yea I have the 2018 rsv4 as my street. But as a trackbike, you can't go wrong with the r6. I really suggest finding one that is already set up. Cuz building one from scratch is waaaaaaay more expensive. Looking forward hearing from you when you do get one. I returned the favor and subbed as well.
@@BAF-Racing love the RSV4 and if the Tuono V4 is anything to go by, I’m pretty sure the RSV4 would blow my mind! Yea I sure will. Actually found one local to me, fully setup with 10k miles. 2012 $7k not too bad… But living in AZ, it’s a bit hot rn anyway, September would be the perfect time to get on the track.
