During the Ice castle scene: Was there a stop? You never hear or see so much of the song and I don't believe the boats are moving? Where does the camera stand? Very unique shot of the animatronic, I believe.. (too bad it isn't closer)

My dad was stationed here in 1944. He stayed at the Monson and ate mess in the college dining room.

Great history, and memories for me. In the early 70's, Tomball was a small spot on the Atlas Map NW of Houston...mostly woods. Papa & I hunted deer nearby outside of Pinehurst. Nowadays, that is unthinkable. Times change! At that time, the original Ma Goodson's was off the beaten path... a screened 'shack' restaurant. More on that when Thu covers Goodson's Café! The Mega-Mel (if you dare), and regular burgers are fabulous. If fried catfish is more to your taste, you'll find the best ever at Mel's. Don't forget the chicken fried steak! Don't skip the onion rings if you want a fabulous side or appetizer! As for dessert, I never made it that far, but I'm sure they are fabulous.
