Per the Dell Gaming machine: Is it a Windows OS? Remember, Windows (these daze) boots from the swap file. You NEED an Ye Olde Skule Cold Boot. Sometimes, if you were to be as me: one neglects seeing the forrest for them-thar trees. I set my Windows 10 lapptop to alway cold boot. (Now, I can't use it: the screen stays fully black. Oy, Vey, as 'They' say ... CAVEAT: It did work in 'always cold boot' mode for months ... I've just neglected to get it fixed. I can hear it booting, FWLIIW.)
