David McCallum - A Night to Remember (1958)
David McCallum as "Assistant Wireless Operator Harold Bride" in the Titanic drama "A Night to Remember" (1958), directed by Roy Ward Baker. An excellent film that I highly recommend.
McCallum (known from The Man From U.N.C.L.E, Sapphire and Steel, Colditz (1972), The Great Escape, NCIS and more) was at the time of the release 25 years old.

Thank you for posting his scenes.
I have a lawyer friend at my church named Morgan Robertson. The writer who wrote the story pre-dating the Titanic's sinking in 1912 was also named Morgan Robertson. His story took place in the 19th century and also told about a ship that struck an icegerg and sank. "Wreck of the Titan or Futulity". I doubt the two are related, but we'e both interested in the subject as my friend was in the Navy and a Jag lawyer.
Rest in peace David McCallum
Far better than "Titanic". Of course now, we know more about her than than we knew then-that she split in half before she sank-and more.
Rest in peace Mr David McCallum, he was great in this movie, the great escape, and also did a great job as the narrator of the documentary titled "titanic the complete story".
RIP
Still the best titanic movie.
Absolutely I have alredy watch this movie a lot of times and by a lot I mean a lot!! I love this movie every time I watch it it seems like the first time.
Thank you for posting this montage. I remember seeing this film decades ago and the splendid performances are so moving.
this was such a good movie. David had a very small part, but it's nice to see all of the scenes he did appear in compiled together. :) Thanks for posting!
Amd now he work for us in autopsy
My dad introduced me to David in the "MFU" by teasingly asking me why Harold Bride was an UNCLE agent in '65. I knew he was referring to the cute actor in "A Night to Remember", the movie re-run we saw a week before on TBS. I watched and was hooked. We watched other movies and TV programme-and I introduced him to others David was in and I was just 10 going on 11 so we had to watch a lot of re-runs. He also introduced me to watching "Star Trek" so I'm still a fan of David and a Trekker. It was a shock that he died barely a week after his 90th birthday. I looked forward to his podcasts, his new book, and hoped he could've done a few last episodes of "NCIS" too. God bless his family and RIP, David.
Nice job! Love the editing. :D
