living with the nature is true life. Since 2005 i have created butterfly garden in my home. It gives immense pleasure to see them and shooting photos and videos . Happy butterflying.

monarch numbers have recently declined sharply. it turns out that the many types of milkweed are bad for the butterflies, especially tropical milkweed which is in almost all the butterfly garden seed packets. please remove the milkweed from your seed packets, or pull and compost the plants if they are not the right type. Consult the Xerces.org butterfly society for info on the correct type of milkweed and procedures.and thanks for nurturing and protecting our beautiful butterflies.

This is exactly what I plan to do one day. Buy wooded land, put in trails, clear it out a bit an add some more flowering plants. Like a nature preserve :)
