I wondered how much Gilbert actually sleeps when he's in his crate. Here's a movie with a shot taken every 30 seconds for a little over 2 hours, then played back at 6fps (so that's 3 minutes per second)

They are. The D branch is on its own dedicated right of way unlike the other branches so it moves quite a bit faster.

Are the different lines (red, green etc) drawn to scale with each other? I would expect the green line lumps to move much slower than the red line lumps, but that's not what I see.
Where did you shoot this video? It seems like you shot the video from the inbound platform, but the outbound train is going in the wrong direction.
