I don’t know where you are from (your accent sounds French) but I am impressed by how many languages you speak for someone your age. It must be challenging to live in a country outside of your own. Having lived in the United States my whole life, I can’t imagine what it must be like living in a different country. There is a growing anti-immigrant movement here and it’s wrong. Yes, I want immigration reform but I don’t want a wall on our borders and I want the immigration process streamlined. Immigrants built this country and continue to contribute to our economy. I'm sorry you've been having such a hard time, I've missed your videos but always encourage content creators to take care of themselves and not work to death so I assumed you had something important going on. Failing in higher education is tough, it can really make you question what you're doing and honestly, that's good! The best advice I could give about that is really look at the degree you're working for and ask yourself if the classwork is so difficult, how will working in the field be? Is it truly something you'd want to work at for the greater part of your life? When you're young it's fine for you to change your path, I've done it a couple of times, it makes you a little discouraged because it means you'll be in school longer but I think in the long run it will make you better off; and maybe your original path IS worth working for and in that case I'd say that even failing is a learning experience and it means you'll be more likely to pass next time. On the subject of "money vs happiness" I really think the only people who say "money can't buy happiness" or "money won't solve all your problems" are people who've always had it, because the truth is it is just sort of bs. Like, sure happiness is a mental state of mind and JUST having money won't automatically make you happy but when you're struggling to support yourself like...yeah, some money would make me a lot happier right now, same with solving your problems, like, yes, I know money won't solve EVERYTHING, but probably a good 50-60% of my problems could be directly improved by money. I usually respond to people saying that with "well, you just don't know how to spend it" or "I'll be happy to take your money from you if you think it's holding you back". I think you're right about the work vs traveling thing, I always say live presently because you don't know what the future will hold, but that doesn't mean to throw away all care to just completely indulge yourself- obviously you need money to live and should work and that sort of thing, traveling is great but also pretty expensive so it's nice to go on vacations every once in a while but you have to set up a lifestyle in which you can FUND vacations as well. The topic of immigration is very complicated, I don't think there's a simple answer and I know it is very ambiguous. I live in a very diverse community and I'm very happy for it, I think living with an open mind and seeing other cultures and ways of life can make you a wiser, more understanding person. But there is a line that is often crossed where these new peoples and cultures can start to take away from the people already living somewhere, this can be easily observable issues like high population density with not enough housing or jobs, which is also an issue where I live, but it can also have issues that are harder to quantify like the original culture slowly waning. There's also the idea that increased immigration causes an increase in crime, but I think that's more of an issue with ILLEGAL immigration which isn't really what I'm talking about.The thing to keep in mind too is that people are very concerned with their way of life changing, and also you never know what someone has personally experienced with a particular issue, so this subject just has a lot of personal feelings attached to it which makes it very difficult to have a logical discussion about it. I think going by yourself to a foreign country far different than your own is exciting but also scary and I've never done it so I can't really give much advice for that, unfortunately. Lastly, I can't see how knowing when you die could be a positive thing, like most people arguing for it would say "Oh, you can prepare for it and make sure everything's in order" but you can just do that now! Like, you SHOULD prepare for your death as if it were to happen soon jus to so it's taken care of, but to know when it's gonna happen would only make you incredibly anxious and stressed out, I think. Anyway, I hope things get better for you and your friends come back soon and you can visit your home as well, it sucks you were all alone for so long including the holidays, that really is terrible so I am very sorry. If you find time to make more videos, we'll all be very happy to see them, if not, you'll have our support.

Hey Konan, this is the first time I've commented on one of your videos but I would like to say thank you for all your hard work with these, it takes effort to make videos, to upload them and a lot of courage to post it publicly. This video was very philosophical, as you mentioned in the end, and I could go on for a long time deconstructing this video but I want to keep this as short and sweet as I can. Yes this world is very capitalistic, due to this, money allows us to make use of everything this world has to offer, like traveling, but you don't always need to conform to this ideology, you can find happiness in anything, to that end, it's okay to turn off sometimes, it may be hard, but don't over think things, you've got a long life ahead of you, take your time and go at your own pace. It's also okay to fail, it's hard when all around us we hear success stories of many people or seeing friends/colleagues getting ahead while it seems like you're falling behind or stuck in life but the worst thing you can do is to compare yourself to other people. If this channel allows you to de-stress or take your mind off of life even for a moment, then that's a good thing. You seem to have some very nice tea cups and saucers, if you have different types of tea or different types of design cups I would love to see your collection and to hear you talk about it. I wish you all the best for the future and I hope you can find yourself in this crazy world.

For me, finishing school led to travel followed by more school. I've never been a good student due to a learning disability. But I refuse to give up on a goal. I graduated the first time as a pharmacy technician. Then, when the Covid vaccine came out, the US government sent me to 11 different states over a 9-month period working in vaccination clinics. That made me realize that I didn't like looking at the same 4 walls all of the time. So, I went back to school and became an Emergency Medical Technician.

I'm always happy to listen so if you wish to make more like this to get something off your chest, or potentially discuss things, then go for it. From what I've seen, your comment section has a high majority of well meaning people; you'll definitely get some advice & pointers to help you along should you need it. Look after yourself :)

Well, firstly. Money doesn't bring happiness. It just smooths over some of the rough spots. There are plenty of wealthy people that are miserable. Secondly. I think how a person would react to knowing the day of their death. Largely would depend on their beliefs about life and death. Which are often tied to their religious beliefs. So, there isn't an easy answer. But, I did come across something once I found interesting. Imagine that when you die. You get introduced to the Ultimate version of yourself. The version of you that lived their life to the fullest. Would you be fine with seeing a complete stranger, or would you rather see your twin?

Find the thing you love to do then work out how to make money doing that thing! Money will buy you stuff and may enable you to travel but think about what you enjoy about travelling. Is it experiencing new things, meeting new people, taking photos and telling people about your journey? Anyhow, thank you for posting again and for being real with your subs. D.x

Thanks for this upload. Money, society, friends, social status, and finding a source of happiness all have difficulty in finding. I can't comment all of my thoughts as it'd take a lot lol but you're definitely heard and what you feel is totally normal for lots of us younger generation. I guess what I can say is really try and figure out what truly matters to you and your purpose, not what society and media tell you it is. It's also okay not to be super busy, at this age "just existing" is pretty typical when you're trying to find your path. I dropped out of college and chose a path people said I'd fail at but it worked out for because I think it's because what I wanted not what media tells me I should want. Most of the time tho that path is the most difficult which told me it was probably the best. You're not alone; all the best to you, always find victory's you know you can achieve throughout the day.

Think you are over estimating the generosity of the public towards immigrants in the USA. Can't imagine it is much better there than in Europe, especially in the current climate. Re the financial situation as a student. I can sympathise. I worked part time all the way through university just to pay my rent. Zero holidays. I am surprised by the amount of vacations you have had since you started the channel. Unfortunately student days are a financial sacrifice you are making for your future. Can't have lots of vacations and still have lot of cash left over for rent and everyday necessities! All about priorities!
