She is adorable, I can't tell if she was intentionally trying to look nervous to make us think she knows she got the wrong answer or if she was just nervous lol, but congrats to the smart girl!
The 2 day total exceeded the normal top prize of 75K which was increased to 100K for the 2016 final...for which the ending was just as exciting as this.
Alex was amazing. M.B. isn't in his realm. She has antiscience/antireality views. That's all it takes. We have an intellectual technology for sorting reality from fiction -- called "the scientific method." It is imperfect, and when mistakes are made, they are ONLY fixed by more science, and it's better than any other strategy in history. It is why we have rovers on Mars, have banished smallpox, and why child leukemia is often cured. She has a Phd. but lacks the humility, skepticism, and judgment to understand how to evaluate claims. That's all. Lots of otherwise smart people fail at this. She shouldn't host Jeopardy because she lacks the ability to reliably sort good ideas from bad. I like her, but not for Jeopardy.
You could tell Alex felt bad for her and wanted to give her the best moment possible. He knew he may be the only man to ever make her feel good, and seized the moment.
The contestant in the middle should have been declared winner because she provided the complete anwer to the query because Jefferson can either be a first or last name.
Thx, this was a great Final. I could have misunderstood the answer on this but knew both PotUS, that future tense is the clue from term when Iowa official statehood. That's all you get from me about that. Another Jeopardy answer sorta relevant involves PotUS when most states officially admitted. Sry no clues but interesting.
I legit thougth that that poor girl was gonna pass out with how stoic and serious she looked... Almost like she was beating herself up inside... .. and then the answer is revealed and she just let go! Was great!
Do they all go home with what they won? In the UK, only the winner goes home with the prize. The runner-up may get a towel or pen or something but in most cases, they go home empty-handed.
This is the finals of a tournament, so they all get a prize for making it to the tournament finals. What's interesting here is that all three contestants' scores exceeded the minimum prize guaranteed for how they placed in the tournament ($15,000 for 3rd place, $25,000 for 2nd place, $75,000 for 1st place), so each got to keep what they earned.
yet that time they dinged that kid for not spelling emancipation proclamation right... u knew what he wrote, it just had a few letters wrong .....and here u could barely make out Jefferson! taylor more than anything....she should of lost that, here's the kid I'm talking about ua-cam.com/video/fiuF1uyaBQ4/v-deo.html
What is so great about this?
What jeopardy year was this?
I don't like videos recorded off of TV.
the Louisiana theft
God bless that nerdy little birdy!
LOL probably the only time I got a final jeopardy question right, and I was guessing right out of my a$@.
Nah, c'mon man. Everybody knows the best Final Jeopardy answer ever was Cliff Clavin's "Who are 3 people who have never been in my kitchen."😄😄
I liked how all the scores remained visible after the winner was announced.
What does this have to do with James?! UA-cam wake up
Best!
Autistic girl
That was adorable
These are some beautiful women

"Intentionally" Not a chance. This is what pure instinctive honesty looks like.
underrated presisent
But it wasn't a state yet. JAMES POLK WAS WHEN IOWA REACHED STATEHOOD
Date of statehood wasn't the question.
i must have missed something.
That’s funny that a scribbled Jefferson that looks like Jerom was allowed but an 8th grader misspelled Emancipation Proclamation and lost lmao
awesome
These women are legends! ❤

The answer is thomas jefferson because iowa was part of the louisiana purchase. And jefferson was the president thst approved the purchase.
Taylor is a huge name now in 2023
The contestant in the middle should have been declared winner because she provided the complete anwer to the query because Jefferson can either be a first or last name.
The first girl has been in more than 75 porn videos..

It's hard not to smile whenever you see how happy these cool and smart kiddos are!
They're called "autism fists." She can't contain her sperg joy.
And then she learned a lot about taxation. A double win!
Poker face.
The question wasn’t clearly worded

@@MuffinsAPlenty Thank you 🙏🏼 Jeopardy has just come to the UK. I’m enjoying watching it.

Listen youtube. How the f did I get here.
Awww. That was awesome!!
She tried to keep to the narrative, not smiling until after the totals were confirmed ......but it just burst. Brilliant mate!
why is everyone raging over her winning 56 thousand dollars? she could have done a payphone hit and get 85k in 4 minutes
Beautiful young ladies! I hope they all are happy and thriving! ❤
I’ll have to respectfully disagree. This final Jeopardy is pretty meh.
We miss you Alex 😔😞
