@ermonski makes sense. I've definitely enjoyed it while I've had it and honestly, the only thing I would change are the switches but only because I like tinkering, not for mechanical issues.

@ermonski never sold, just swapped over to the Razer Kitsune as my daily driver, but I use the Sky2040 in casuals or for testing things quick.

I don't think I could ever go back to controller for Sekiro. Every other FS game, not an issue, but Sekiro *lights cigarette* it's a different animal.

Those PCA Mechs straight up feel like I'm fighting an Rx 78-2 Gundam. Those fights are wild. Definitely going to have to figure out some new builds soon.

@therealhudlesshorseman god I rocked quad legs and dual shotguns for a while in this game. Was a ton of fun.

@deliciouspirataygod1936 I was eyeing up the Sweet Sixteens, might be time to commit.

That second phase threw me for a loop when it first dropped. Instantly felt like I was back in Bloodborne against Lawrence. Absolutely love this game so far.

Thats awesome! What'd you snag? I personally run a t300 rs with t3pm pedal, my mouse is my sequential shifter and ebrake. Most definitely takes some time to get used to, even if you're used to driving a regular vehicle. Definitely look into Facebook groups or reddit threads if you need help getting set up, as there are a lot of little things between different wheels and set ups.

Getting a wheel and semi decent wheel stand awhile back has definitely made a difference in the level of immersion. I'm using my mouse as a sequential shifter and e-brake (left click - gear up, right - gear down, side button - e brake) and even that helps keep me "in the world" of the game a bit more. As of right now, it is still holding up just as well as the day of purchase! Have not swapped any parts or switches either. just used it at my locals I T.O. a week ago and everything felt great. Please make sure you snag a Brooks converter if you're playing on ps5 as I forgot to mention the necessity if you're on the 5 or plan on playing at locals. Now, I will say, I have upgraded to the Razer Kitsune Akuma Edition and that's my daily driver, HOWEVER, the Sky2040 is still a great casual killer and jumping off point for leverless.

@tetsuuya1451 As someone with longer fingers, ergonomically I haven't found any issues trying to hit the right buttons or with longer play sessions (2ish hours), no problems with stiffness or soreness. I will say, I've been using a PC, and in turn, a keyboard, since childhood, so swapping to a leverless didn't bring the worst learning curve or trying to sort out where my fingers should go. As for having it on the lap or a desk, I can use either and it really just depends on where I'm playing, HOWEVER, if you're going to use it on your lap, get a non slip foam pad for the entire back. I do enjoy having it propped up at a slight angle (much like a keyboard). If you've played an instrument such as piano or guitar, it will also help lessen the learning curve if you haven't used one before as well. Hope all this answers what you were looking for! Appreciate the kind words! And definitely, for the price point and portability, this thing is perfect for a lot of situations. Had I not swapped to the Kitsune soon after going leverless, I'd still be using the Sky2040.

I am using it on PC (steam) normally and PS5 (with brooks converter) at tourneys. Weird it's not getting picked up on SF but KoF doesn't have an issue. Maybe controller configuration in steam and see if it's connected with SF would be my best advice. Good luck, hopefully you can get it sorted.

​@Ztall0880 Alright, so from set up to play. I plugged into a USB 3.0 in my PC and then the USB-C to the controller. Go to the street fighter 6 page in your library. It should read "mostly playable with your controller" (says this just due to Remapping steam dialect to whatever controller you're using) Controller should be lit up and functional before hand. If you still have the monochrome screen set up in the upper left corner, it should show you what inputs are being read. Double check before going into street fighter. Start up SF6 in the controller looks like it is completely fine and functional. Hit training room and mash buttons, double check controller settings in game and button mapping there as well. If it is not being picked up by SF6 at that, there may be a driver update for the controller which I would then google or search "sky2040 update". Hope this helps and gets you sorted. It was super just plug and play for myself.

@@therealhudlesshorseman much appreciate, i'll give it a try... anyway i tried, ps4, switch, xinput modes... only sf6 refuses to work... when i go to controller settings, when i choose 'keyboard input' it works but only few buttons. couldn't map buttons again. have a nice evening.

Had a chance to use the Nacon as well, and yes, it is wonderful! Had I not already owned a nice stick, I would have snagged a Nacon as well at EVO. They are well designed, easy to work on, and has a ton of quality of life features.

Thank you for the view and comment! So, the way I made the jump to leveless a tad easier, I saw it the same as learning keyboard and mouse when I swapped to PC years ago. Left hand is for movement, right hand for "actions". If you potentially play an instrument, see combo notations like musical notations and the leveless is your piano, or drums, or guitar. THAT BEING SAID, yes, these things can take years to master, but I'm hoping maybe the comparisons help. As for the longevity of the optical switches, I also expect them to last longer than the initial 3 to 4 years guess I have made. However, with the products I have used, I tend to get A LOT of use over the years, it's just around those year marks, I start to notice just small wear and tear issues that may honestly just be on me or not from doing full tear downs, cleanings, replacing switches. With how simple it is to swap parts on this, it shouldn't be an issue hopefully.
