    I cooked this over the weekend and it came out great. I used it over hot dogs, omelets, mixed into a cream cheese dip, and by itself over a bed of Fritos with sour cream and grated cheddar cheese. I liked what the Jalapeno's did to the flavor and will add this to my other recipes. Very Good. Cheers.

      It works for both. It's "carnivore", because it is all animal products. Keto can be anything, as long as it's high fat and minimal carbs. Really "carnivore" could be considered a form of keto.

      When the cheese melts in with the grease that's left in the pan, it basically makes a cheese sauce. Adding a sauce would actually take away from the flavor of the seasonings. And you would need to increase the amount of spices.

    What makes it bad is the potatoes and the jalapenos. Jalapenos are a nightshade family pepper and will cause inflammation. So not healthy, sorry. The eggs and meat are great, although pork is a lower quality of protein. Try turnips instead of potatoes.

    • @I_Will_Cook_What_I_Want
      @I_Will_Cook_What_I_Want 2 місяці тому

      @@MirageRidersofIcarus Jalapeños are low in calories and full of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. One raw jalapeño contains the following Calories: 4 Fiber: 0.4 grams Vitamin C: 10% of the RDI Vitamin B6: 4% of the RDI Vitamin A: 2% of the RDI Vitamin K: 2% of the RDI Folate: 2% of the RDI Manganese: 2% of the RDI Like most fruits and vegetables, jalapeño peppers are a good source of fiber. One pepper provides 2% of the RDI for a person consuming 2,000 calories per day. Jalapeños also contain lots of vitamin C and vitamin B6. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that fights free radical damage and keeps your skin healthy and firm, while vitamin B6 is an essential nutrient involved in over 140 bodily reactions One of the most unique compounds in jalapeños is capsaicin, an alkaloid that gives peppers their characteristic spicy quality and is responsible for many of their health benefits. Jalapeños may help you lose weight by boosting your metabolism, increasing fat burn and reducing your appetite Several studies have found that capsaicin and other similar compounds called capsaicinoids can boost metabolism by 4-5% per day, potentially making it easier to lose weight In addition to boosting metabolism, capsaicinoid supplements have been shown to reduce abdominal fat and appetite so that people eat 50-75 fewer calories per day All of these factors help explain why regularly consuming chili peppers is associated with a significantly reduced risk of becoming overweight or obese over time While this research is promising, it is important to note that many of these studies investigated the effects of capsaicin or chili peppers in general, not just jalapeños. Lab studies have shown that capsaicin has strong anti-cancer properties and is capable of killing over 40 types of cancer cells without harming normal cells Capsaicin fights cancer by Stopping the growth and division of cancer cells Slowing the formation of new blood vessels around cancer tumors Preventing cancer from spreading to other areas of the body. While it is commonly believed that spicy foods like jalapeños can cause or aggravate stomach ulcers, research has shown this to be false In fact, the capsaicin in chili peppers may protect the stomach from developing ulcers in the first place. It may have this effect by reducing stomach inflammation in people with H. pylori and even helping kill off the infection. However, it is not clear whether the amount of capsaicin in jalapeños is large enough to have this effect Chili peppers can also help reduce the stomach damage caused by the overuse of NSAID pain relievers and alcohol, potentially preventing the formation of ulcers from the start Compounds found in spicy chili peppers are especially powerful at slowing the growth of common foodborne bacteria and yeasts Chili extracts can even stop cholera bacteria from producing toxins, potentially reducing the impact of this deadly foodborne disease Beyond food poisoning, new research suggests that capsaicin can help prevent other types of infections, such as strep throat, bacterial tooth decay and chlamydia Some of the biggest risk factors for heart disease include diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Capsaicin can help reduce the impact of these factors and may help keep your heart healthy Eating 5 grams of chili peppers before a high-carb meal has been shown to help stabilize blood sugars and prevent the large spikes that occur after meals. Capsaicin has also been shown to lower cholesterol and lipid levels in animals Animal studies also suggest that capsaicin can help lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels

      @@I_Will_Cook_What_I_Want knock yourself out, just saying it is not "healthy". Dr. Childers knew first-hand the affects of severe joint pain and stiffness. He discovered that after consuming a meal containing any tomatoes, he experienced severe pain. As his interest in the inflammatory responses to nightshades grew, he observed livestock kneeling in pain from inflamed joints - the livestock had consumed weeds containing a substance called solanine. Solanine is a chemical known as an alkaloid, which can be highly toxic. An enzyme present in the body called Cholinesterase originates in the brain where its responsible for flexibility of muscle movement. Solanine, present in nightshades, is a powerful inhibitor of cholinesterase. In other words, its presence can interfere with muscle function - the cause of stiffness experienced after consuming nightshades. All people are not sensitive to nightshades in the same degree. Research has proved that when an inflammatory condition exists, consuming nightshades is like adding “fuel to the fire”. See I can copy and paste also. Google has tweaked their algos to push a agenda, dig around a bit. It was 200 years before people in Europe would touch a tomato or potatoes, since it was a nightshade.

    • @I_Will_Cook_What_I_Want
      @I_Will_Cook_What_I_Want Місяць тому

      The oldest, healthiest people I know, all have eaten tons of nightshades, throughout their entire lives. My grandpa is in his 90s, and eats tomatoes and jalapeños in everything, he even puts jalapeños in desserts. Even in what you responded, it says "when an inflammatory condition exists" and that was in livestock. And certain things are bad, for specific conditions. And that is the case with all healthy food. But by definition of healthy, it is healthy. To say it's not, because some people can't handle them, is ignorant. Then there would be nothing healthy on the planet.

Furthermore, mice on the high-fat diet with beef tallow had lower fat levels in their fat tissue. Also, switching to a diet with beef tallow, which had a healthier balance of omega-6 and omega-3 fats, boosted the activity of an enzyme called phospho-AMP-activated protein kinase. This enzyme helps regulate how cells use energy and reduces stress in the liver and fat tissue.

      Lmao What about it isn't healthy? Loaded with tons of nutrients. And most of the cholesterol in the body is made by the liver, not delivered through diet. Egg yolk is significantly richer in most vitamins. A 100g serving of egg yolk covers the recommended daily values of vitamin B2 by 40%, vitamin B5 by 60%, vitamin B9 (folate) by 36.5%, vitamin B12 by 81%, vitamin D by 36.3%, and vitamin A RAE by 42%. Egg yolk is also richer in vitamin B1, vitamin E, and vitamin K. Egg white is rich only in vitamin B2, providing 33% of the recommended daily value per 100g serving. Egg white contains insignificant amounts of other B-complex vitamins and is absent in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, as they cannot exist in the fat-free environment of egg whites. Egg yolk is richer in almost all minerals as well. The yolk is especially rich in selenium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, and choline. The yolk is also richer in calcium, copper, manganese, and choline. The yolk is also much lower in sodium. Long-term population studies show that eating an egg a day hasn't been linked to higher rates of heart attack or stroke. They literally have all the essential things to make a life. And the carbs in potatoes are good, complex carbs. The whole pan probably had roughly 40 grams of carbs. I make 4 meals out of it, and I try to not eat refined sugar at all. It might not be great for certain people in specific situations, but overall, it's defintely healthy.
