Thank you for the nice video :) i ve done lire you and i have thé samedi problème, thé sd card is détecter but not recognize whereas it is recognuze and formated in hdl batch installer. I ve check the wiring and i ve got launch.elf 4.43 isr but it doesnt work
Hi. When you say that the SD card is detected but not recognized, what do you mean? If you run HDDManager through uLaunchELF, does it say that the card is detected?
@@Woodnsus it says connected yes, formated no :/
@@tartiff That is still a good thing. Have you tried formatting it with HDDManager?
@@Woodnsus the fomat failed every time. (thanks for helping me)
@@tartiff Okay. You said that you are already using the 4.43x_isr version of uLaunchELF, so I have to ask, does your SD card happen to have a capacity higher than 128GB? Because that is the limit of this adapter board. Also, are you sure all connections are good? No bridging or whatnot. Or, are you using an HDMI adapter? If so, you need to power it externally, instead of connecting it to the console's USB ports. Keep trying. Sometimes, it takes some tries for it to work, but once it does, it's usually pretty stable. You just have to learn what triggers problems.
bro i need your help with raging blast 2 on rpcs3 LMAO
So mad I missed this. I was at work.
You didn't miss much. Unfortunately, we didn't get to actually play the game much this time around. If anything, it felt like a waste of my time.

Bagged that W
But what's the player count
i have only 27-30 fps how do i get 50-60fps?
What are your computer's specifications?
@@Woodnsus rtx 3080ti, i7 12700k
Hey there! Sorry for the late reply. Wow, those are incredible specs. Since lack of power has been ruled out, the next thing I'd point you to look at, would be the software. Make sure you have all required dependencies for the PCSX2 version you're using. You can check what those are on the emulator's website: pcsx2.net/docs/setup/windows Then, make sure you're not limiting your hardware's performance in any substantial way, either through underclocking, undervolting, unstable overclocking, FPS limiters and what not. These should be no-brainers, but I mention them just in case. Then, I would like to let you know that the game on PS2 actually runs in 25fps in the PAL version, and 30 in the NTSC one. Those frames are then duplicated, to reach the refresh-rate spec of their respective region. So, depending on where you're getting those FPS readings from, they may be normal. I play the NTSC version of the game on this emulator, so my version's performance is around 29-31FPS (in the "Game" indication, at the bottom right corner of the emulator's window, when not playing using fullscreen). Apart from that, another thing I could recommend that you do, is disable the option "Vertical Sync (Sync)" in the Emulation tab of the settings. For some reason, it seems to be broken for now (at least in the latest version).
The game and Discord audio levels seem to be too low. Apologies.
not working game not apearing
how the fuck do i even get teh game do i need to get an iso? edit:cuz the game aint apearing for me in the games

How To Make It Like The HD Collection One ?
Ask Santa to do it 🙏🙏🙏
@@Woodnsus I Mean Isn't There An Option Tha Makes The Lighting Graphics Like The HD Collection One ? Or The 3D 16:9 Option ?
Why wasnt it working?
It was a combination of problems, if I remember correctly. One of them being the point on which I had initially connected the wire for power (after a lot of looking around, I came across this post on Twitter: x.com/VajskiD/status/1700807128120955316 and copied this guy's points, which ended up working), and uLaunchELF needing a custom build that had better compatibility with the Slim IDE functions (4.43x_isr).
@@Woodnsus Tnx, looking to do one myself soon.
@@golimonkey Consider getting this: arthrimus.com/product/iflash2ps2-flex-kit/ It can make the soldering work a lot easier, as well as allow you to use SD cards larger than 128GBs.

There is the Ps2 Slim IDE Resurrector from Gusse that does exactly that, in a much tidier way. Did that, works like a charm and i used a microsd extender that i put on the vents on the front side, looks almost as an original feature!
I'm aware, though I wasn't when I started gathering the parts, years ago. It is indeed an excellent, and much more preferable choice, and if I ever get to do this mod again in the future, I know sure as shoot I'm getting one of them.
CAN U HELP ME when i go play online battle and choose quick matchit says some japanese words and bring me to host match unstead
Same story here. Was planing to do that for few years, lacking energy, even same 7000 model of ps2
Do yourself a favor if you ever decide to do it, and get one of these: gusse.in/shop/ps2-modding-parts/ide-resurrector-flex-cable-for-spch700xx/ It'll make the process 90% easier.
I never came across 70k series, they gotta be pretty rare, I'vve got literally 2 palettes of Japanese and Euro PS2s from 10k through 90k and not a single 70k hahaha
That's a shame. They're pretty cool.
for some reason I can't find the patch folder anywhere
Are you referring to the source, downloaded folder, or the destination, emulator folder?
@@Woodnsus Yeah I was able to find it; because I was using mac the file management was different from what I'm used to on windows
soldering around those smd resistors is freakin PITA!! glad you managed to get it working in the end 🎉
@@babixillo Thank you. It's a transformative experience if you're a rookie. Really heightened my sense of soldering, but definitely not the best area to gain experience at. Not the worst either.
spend $20 on a pop filter for you microphone
I plan to get a better microphone in the future. I'm currently recording with a HyperX Cloud Alpha headset.
Worked fine 👍👍, the only problem that I had was that the emulation was slow af, maybe me and my friend configured it the wrong way or someone has bad internet connection, don't want to point fingers, but I think it's me.
Our games were locked at 30 fps, just put it on infinite, and it will go to 60 and won't the in slow motion anymore.
Great mod, but I think it is probably outdated since you can just use a MX4ISO (SD on memory card) on the slim, also the memory card transfer rate is faster than IDE.
@@thegreator Hi! I'm aware of MX4SIO and actually own more than one! I might make a game loading speed comparison between that, IDE, USB and Ethernet in the future, to put everything into perspective, but for the time being, I'd like to note that IDE is definitely faster, and it should be, by far. MX4SIO is just a small step up from USB, but it's not even up to par with the standard DVD reading speed. Where did you get that from?
From my experience, FMV on hdd tends to stutter but not on mx4sio. I immediately turn on my ps2 after posting this and I can confirm that.... I was wrong. I was using an old OPL this whole time. Sorry, should've check before posting.
@@thegreator No worries. Glad we set that straight. Feel free to stick around if you wanna see some more projects I'm working on. I'll have a tease in my next video.
Good, but let me give you an advice, get some sort of microphone filtering, either physical or from software, so the air that you produce when you say a word, doesn't get recorded.
I'm currently using a HyperX Cloud Alpha headset and its microphone to record, and while it already has a small piece of foam or whatever that is, it's inevitable that some of my breathing will be heard. I try to manually remove it during the editing process, but I may miss a few spots. I have not yet found an algorithm that I am happy with, to remove that automatically. I think I'll just get a standalone mic, that will allow me to keep some distance from it when I breathe, so I can speak more comfortably. But that's for the future.
im happy i found this ill give it a go..
Cool! Good luck mate.
Just you can play with external usb hard disk
@@panospanagiotopoulos4682 The USB ports on the PS2 are limited to 1.1 speeds (=~ 1MBps). This results in some games lagging. I've personally played lots of PS2 games through USB and can say that it's an okay experience, at least for the games that I played, however, if you can do or a get a console with this mod, this is by far superior.
