That section 2 does not sound right.The coastal highway has nothing to do with ore neither benin,it goes from lagos to ogun,ogun to south of okitipupa in ondo state.From there is goes to warri,benin city and ore is inland, nowhere near the coast.From warri to bayelsa to rivers,akwa lbom and terminates at calabar.l don't know where you are getting ore and benin from.Lagos sagamu, benin highway covers ore and benin already.Thank you.

If Akwa Ibom state continues waiting for federal government to get this port constructed, it will wait for eternity. The state must face the construction for its actualisation, if not, Nigerian politics will not allow it to come to fruition.

It's unwise to build new infrastructures if the old ones are not reconstructed and maintained. This project will eventually be abandoned just as the rest of the abandoned projects that litters all over the country. China didn't build world class infrastructures when the country is still growing.. I remember a Chinese man who said the first place he saw jaw dropping flyovers was in Lagos Nigeria, in 1980 when he visited Nigeria with his father. He said there was nothing like that in China then but today, the story is different. Did you know that 8 out of 10 longest bridges in the world are in China and they were all built within the last 10 years. They first of all built their economy before building super highways and longest bridges and super structures.. Nigerians are hungry, no sufficient food, no domestic industries, no power, no security, Naira is getting Wesker everyday and you're building super highway across villages to a small city. The vehicular movement to Calabar is poor. This shouldn't be a priority now. Use that money to build the Calabar Deep Sea Port first, then use the balance to dualize the dilapidated road from Makurdi to Calabar. With this you would have achieve a lot economically. The super highway can come later as the economy of these areas grows. This is another White Elephant projects. Misplaced priority!
