Apartments operated by the Housing Authority of Covington are considered "conventional public housing units" The Housing Authority of Covington consists of three family developments, one senior building, scattered sites that consists of both single family and duplex apartments. Tenants are charged a monthly rent that does not exceed 30% of their adjusted income.
The Housing Choice Voucher Program is a City responsibility and Department that is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered locally under the umbrella of the Consortium with the Housing Authority of Covington. Participants find their own housing anywhere in Kenton County and it must be code compliant. The family must pay 30% of its monthly adjusted gross income for rent and utilities. The remaining contract rent amount is paid directly to the landlord on behalf of the participating family (as housing subsidy).

I grew up here until I was almost 11 years old. I'm 34 years old now and I can tell you that even back then our apartment was never as nice as this model she is showing. I would get jumped just walking to the park at 7 years of age and twice placed in the hospital. My bikes were always stolen etc. Do not live here you are better off homeless living under a bridge.
This place nicer than where i live. Atleast the have wood doors where i live have metal doors... Brick concrete and metal. Now show the apartments that people live in.

These three witches were networking to destroy tenants homes, and reputation by discrediting them. They would come in there home when they were out and z( make ) it look like they weren't clean and there house sink. Tamper with food. Their names are Michelle roiston and mMichelle ubic, from the police review board, and jennifer Philip's from familylinks. Michelle roiston is a lower director from housing authority. When they seen their mess worked on the northside . .they got different tenant in other areas to do it in aliquippa and butler. Horassing tenants, stocking, breaking in their home. Sex trafficing, drugs, Michelle was capitalizing off the crimes
Looks like the average housing authority for families outside of NYC,, after gentrification took over NYC i relocated and was placed in a townhouse style unit just like this one in GA.... I wish i could go back.. petty crime like break ins, gun violence is ridiculous.,,sketchy drug dealers and druggies stand around and watch your every move, dont get into any words with anyone cause they will destroy your car if you have one.. and lordt!! ive never seen so many un-kill-able roaches in my life!!... Trust me the grass aint always greener and most housing authorities look ok in the early morning.... js.. Searching for something private asap
I have lived there for approximately 21 years and there is alot of crime and drugs there. Criminals hang out where ever they choose. Theres alot of violence and noise there and yes you are putting your life at high risk living there. This place is very old, it has been what it is since 1955 and it was other things before that. It was built by the military as a family living base back in 55 and later it changed into what it is now, there used to be a group of nuns who used to help people who couldn't afford the basics but the nuns were even robbed and their lives were threatened by thugs from the neighborhood, Alotta thugs from Cincinnati go there to sale drugs and prostitutes and cause violence. Please if you have never lived here please don't come here. People have gotten murdered, raped, robbed here very regularly and it's not safe to live here.

That apartment complex is dangerous. Way too many shootouts. When you live there you literally put your life at risk!

I should appreciate my apartment even more. I have housing. It sounds like mine is different from others. You can go anywhere in the city that takes it . I'm in Arizona and my apt seems to be better than the one she was showing. I have a 2 bed, 2 full bath, with 2 walk in closets, loads of storage, balcony, utilities included, pet friendly, split foorplans etc. Both rooms are big enough for king size bed and dressers. It's about 1200 sq ft. I'll never complain about it and it's faults. I'm lucky after being on the streets that everything worked out.

That apartment community is a dangerous place live, it's so dangerous that the cops won't patrol there! There are too many murders, drug dealing and tons of other illegal activity.

Keep in mind, this is a model apartment. Most Section 8 apartments haven't looked like that in years.
It's way better than the NYC housing development. Here is no pantry or washer/dryer hookup. Nice apartment.

Beggars can't be choosers its,a nice place,was on section 8 before long time ago,three bedroom,two full baths,dish washer,washer and dyer hook up,but i had to pay my own utilities,but want ever they would of given me would of been fine,i was grateful.
And i also had huge walk in closets.
