As the Dakar rally draws closer, Luis and Scott get together for a quick meeting of minds. I stop them for a few minutes to get a general feel of what is going on. More to be found at www.kc2dakar.tumblr.com
Ducati Multistrada 1200 full Termignoni exhaust
Переглядів 27 тис.13 років тому
Last week we brought you a video of the Shorty Termi exhaust for the Ducati Multistrada 1200. Using the SAME camera, we today have a video of the FULL Termignoni exhaust system so you can compare difference in sound. Note that this exhaust has the baffles removed and is cracking at full volume INDOORS as opposed to outdoors in the last video. Enjoy. www.letko.com

Ducati Multistrada 1200 Termignoni short pipe
Переглядів 33 тис.13 років тому
We just installed the shorty Termi exhaust on a customer's brand new MTS1200 S Sport. We've heard a lot of people complain about the sound , but having not heard it ourselves, we were curious to see if the bike actually sounded "worse" as it has been reported, than the stock system. Well, the bike not only doesn't sound worse than stock, it sounds pretty damn good. Sure, it's NOT any louder tha...

Letko Cycles service manager Scott decided to take the Ducati Multistrada 1200 for a spin (finally). We didn't know he was going to get it dirty.
KTM Duke 690 cruising
Переглядів 62 тис.14 років тому
Just put the baffle (yeah right) in the FMF APEX exhaust and took the Duke 690 for a quick spin around the block. Without the insert, the bike definitely wanted to wheelie more, but it was soooo loud on the highway. The bike sounds the same with the insert in, but my ears don't bleed at higher speeds... As much...

Multistrada vs. the competition
Переглядів 81214 років тому
rode the bmw gs12, the gsa 12 and the v-strom back to back to back. As far as handling and comfort in town and in the twisties, the duc wins. I can't speak for off-road, but no one seriously considering this bike is going to go offroad with it anyway. The hard part is realizing that the Ducati Multistrada really doesn't compete with the BMW OR the Suz because it really belongs in it's own catag...

I just bought a used one missing lotta parts how can I get part a idea
Is it for sale
Which city is this?
Is this multiplying multistradas ?
Keep an eye on the rear wheel bearings. The wheel bearings are sketchy at best. They can be broken and it is hard to see that they are broken without taking them out. I just rebuilt a rear wheel bearing with new sealed bearings. The thing rolls like a dream now.
I just got my hands on one needs another of work thanks for the input
what kind of exhaust you got there bro
That bike is so unique. They all are in their own way. I ride Kawasaki but I would love to own the rc8 one day
I am now the owner of this bike, picked it up from Ducati of Omaha via ebay about a week agon. Only 4300 miles for 13700 usd.....gonna look pretty parked next to the Nera and VR-1000....
Is it any loud? when you see a Supermotard going down the street the exhaust just roars, but on videos and reveiws on the internet they all kind of sound like the stock exhausts
you can pick a brand new one up for 14k
kkkkkkkk
nm,,,
900 are ok
i own the same bike and you have to keep it above 3 or 4 rpm or else it moves back and forth like it wants to stall
Stop hating, make you look pathetic as fuck. Stick to your honda civic jimmy rustler.
if you want cbr sound go get a bmw s1krr or something, thats like a cbr but wayyy better
in germany you can buy the german model of the balboa (m4) sometimes for 150€
i just got a boner
i will like it better if the soind was more like in a cbr or something like that, but i love it.. haha
i just got one for 250$. needs some body work but all is fine! if anybody has a carburator air filter for one of these i will pay $30 plus any shipping.
that shit sounds disgusting...in the best way possible
Not too expensive. With a $40,000 salary...If you're willing to drive a 1990s Ford Escort...You can ride a piece of engineering genius on the weekends...and have a garage to put it in.
DUCATIS ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BIKES IN THIS WORLD!!!!!! IM NOT SURE IF THEY ARE RELIABLE BUT..........ITS DIFFUCLT TO RESIST ON THEM :P
Any feedback from your customers, now after 2 years? I'm interested in a long term report.
i want this bike soooooo bad.....no where to keep any more toys.....and the price tagis a little much..................i cant wait to hit mega millions..........im blowing 3 million on bikes and cars.....and full shop.....fingers crossed
is not a bike...is something else....dream.......difficult to find the suitable words to describe it......DEAR SANTA
@KreatorOfDeath1985 Have to disagree, the rc8r with evo 4 and club race kit installed runs at 115 db!!much louder than any inline 4
It's not about loudness, it abt smoothness
gopro and chest mount? nice ride. want to get one myself
@simon44 You get used to it.
@BlankBrandon around 40,000 $ or more...... x)
how much money do pro teams throw into these bikes?
@fotokitdirect Ok, but you must feel an unreal amount of wind on your chest no?
This bike looks like a porygon lol
With a helmet like that and wind protection as little as that does your head not buffet like mad?
its the most beautyfull bike ever!!! but the sound.... damn its loud right ok... but... it doesnt sounds like a superbike it sounds like a harley thats horrible : (
oh nice
we pull (buy) bikes in the same condition for $500 or less. heck most of the time we target bikes in the under $200 range unless they have massive aftermarket power and built right (hard to find people who know how to build right)
@LetkoCycles you're crazy
that bike is so fucking amazing!!:D thumps up if u agree!!:DD
nice bike. i one one!
Wow, seriously $900? I have a blue version with the non-spoke wheels. I've been renovating it and was glad to listen to yours run. I wasn't sure if mine was pinging or if it was natural. Apparently it's the natural sound. Good luck with that price, you can get a new moped for around that and it's easier to get parts. If you have a new Tomos, I'll trade it for my Sachs, lol.
Man i LOVE the way these things look, but i hate how they sound, its so wimpy sounding compared to everything else =[
why do you turn rpm off?
@DrSwarovski yes because have full exhaust termignoni ...150 hp to 160 hp
A friend of mine installed it and its safe to say that the sound is not at all impressive... If you want the real thing you need to install the full system.
@terrell568 I think he was just pumping the rear brake pedal to get fluid up into it. Sure does look like he was being a tool though xD
only 152hps unfortunetly...
but it still has quite aggressive throttle
