Doesn’t Christmas decor in the house just give you that special feeling inside! Christmas decor doesn’t need to match, it looks great! I’m always so sad when I have to take it down & the house is “normal” again. Awww Charlie and the eating of sticks.. she will get there, I had a yellow lab and I had the same issues. I'm a bit late here, because I found you over a reaction video for a older video of yours. About your question what content to post, I wan't to share my thoughts. I'm german and love to see these kind of videos. What I miss sometimes is a point of view of someone knowing Germany see the US. As you know, some things may be common for one of us, while other feel it like a culture shock. Maybe it is possible to highlight Oklahoma, the US and everywhere you get from that perspective. E.g. I always notice that cities in the US are structured differently. Squared, somehow. And while I don't want to say "politics", I wondered over some US people saying, I don't care about the big election, I only care about what's going on localy. Maybe you could capture this "localness". Yeah, I don't know. Don't stop finding you way. It's important you find your way, than to meet expectations. Even those on your YT channel. You don't have to be more positive than you feel. You seem to be authentic, even when you struggle. This is something deeply relateable. People watch you because of that, not because you fullfill some kind of expectations. They, or at least me, identify with you in that. And if this means, you don't want or don't find a way to post more videos - so be it. Your mental health must have a higher priority than any of this. Wünsche Dir alles Gute!

Why would we hate that you want to live here forever? Isn't this the nicest thing you could possibly say? Do US citizens hate it when foreigners say they would like to stay forever?

You could post how you make the best of your reality, try new little things, like recipes or whatever inspires you. I mean why not give us insight in "boring" small city life. It does not need to always be a big travel vlog on youtube. Life is made also of boring everyday life, of small moments even in dull cirumstances. Try to focus on what is out there right now for you and not too much on what you don't have right now ;-)

Hey! I think it's normal to feel in a rut during certain seasons as a military spouse and I think that though it sucks, it isn't abnormal! Praying you can find something or a tribe to help make the place like home! I'm missing Germany too! I started watching your videos when we first moved to Ansbach, and once my husband was watching with me and recognized your husband! 😂

Who cares that it's early? You do you! Did you get your tree in Germany? It pretty...nice and full! I look forward to seeing you decorate it or seeing it done! Thank you for being so honest. It’s ok to not be ok. The emotional perspective and journey of military spouses isn’t shared enough I think. We are here to support and love our military members but we also go through our own challenges and it can be hard. Keep posting as often as you feel that you can and I hope you find some good things that bring you joy where you are at. I understand going from Germany to the states to an adjustment. But you’re doing so good. And you continue to inspire those who watch your videos and follow your journey.

I am interested in everyday lige. How do your streets or shops look like? Or show your landscape or lakes or parks...I am always interested in new places.

Started watching when we found out we were moving to Germany a couple years ago. Still love to watch your content after this move. Daily vlogs, grocery hauls, clean w me, meals/recipes of the week are my fave even if nothing “exciting” is going on. We’re getting ready to head back to the US and I’m so nervous for the adjustment period.

Sweetheart, you’re not alone. I see you, and I love that you shared something so honest and real, especially because I’ve been feeling similarly lately. It’s not about complaining-it’s about expressing how difficult it can be to finally settle somewhere, find a place you feel you belong, only to have to uproot it all and move again. That constant change is exhausting. Being a military spouse requires an artful balance, a dance where both husband and wife make sacrifices. I’ve let go of many opportunities so my husband can pursue his career, and he sacrifices, too. I’ve started a therapy program myself, and I truly believe there’s no shame in seeking help or answers. I applaud you for trying. Therapy isn’t for everyone, but if one approach doesn’t work, maybe another will. I’m in that same boat, still searching for the right fit. Watching you share your thoughts, I felt like I was sitting right there with you. I know how it feels to want to pour everything out, but fear judgment holding you back. I’m not here to judge; I’m here to support, love, and understand. I hope you find that little spark of peace and do something special for yourself. This is just a temporary stage of uncertainty and transition. It takes courage to do what you’re doing, like teaching and subbing-it’s not easy. I recently applied to be a substitute with DODEA on our post, but had to turn it down due to an upcoming surgery. But maybe it’s something I’ll pursue in the future. I hope you get the position or certification you’re working toward and keep growing. Right now, you’re in a cocoon. There’s a bit of darkness in that cocoon, but remember-there’s light waiting on the other side. You’ll find comfort and happiness again. Good things are coming your way. I just found your channel, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. My big takeaway from all this is the importance of slowing down, focusing on self-care, and showing compassion to others on a similar path. Remember to prioritize self-care, whether that’s pampering yourself or spending quality time with your dog. Did you know there's an authentic German Christmas Market in Chicago, actually run by Germans? Also, the Christmas Market season in GER is about to kick off in four weeks or so with Frankfurt, Nürnberg, and München not being out of the world at all! Girly I found you because I wanted to PCS to Germany I was there as a single girly and fell in love, now married to my husband who’s active duty I manifested going but didn’t happen lol. This Milso life is hard! After my 30 years of life in Texas coming to Tennessee and not finding good Tex-Mex breaks my heart lol.
