Holy crap I love this video for no reason
Translating is a good album but Cove brought Saosin to the next level with the Beetle album. Its honestly one of the only handful of albums I know that that ages like fine wine
Anthony Green is and always will be Circa Survive for me. When I think Saosin I don’t think Anthony Green just because I feel that Cove did such a great job making it his own
The Big Brown Beaver
I know the guitarist/singer, he’s my dads good friend and he’s giving me some lessons on how to play guitar
Nice, I think he's a genius songwriter.
TBH Cove is better... his songs were the ones that got me into the group, and are the ones I connected to most.
When I was 12, I loved how experimental Save Rock and Roll and American Beauty were, but now I really dig FOB's old stuff. I still think those albums are really good and those ARE the albums I grew up with, but yeah I'd rather they play their old songs if I go see them lol
They suck
The music is hilarious...like a cheesy boy band with metal
Stop calling it groove metal, sounds like a pussy genre, fucking hate this shitty term for one of the heaviest bands ever.
Great fucking band.
this is awesome
He wrote about the fools
The saosin album is amazing
my favorite band of all time - love seeing them live
Brain was brown album, rhinoplasty, and I believe another album not 1...
They tried to Ashley Simpson them and found out they’re just that good
Solid coverage bro 💯
Dude The Rain Museum album is just as good if not better than What To Do When You're Dead. I just saw them live. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sleep token combines everything that I dislike about modern metal
I’ve been into metal for 30 yrs and I actually love Sleep Token. That being said I do wish they were never classified as metal because they are constantly shit on for it. Probably do better under some alt rock genre.
@@jemras2193 to each their own man. I don’t think they’re bad musicians, hell their drummer is fantastic. It’s just not for me, but I can understand why people do like them.
@@greenedout134 Yeah np. I wasn’t trying to be ignorant or anything towards you. Just a side note for anyone interested…the singer Leo Faulkner writes and performs all the lyrics and music except the drums (Adam Pedder). The bassist and guitarist are just touring, not studio, musicians for ST.
@@jemras2193 you’re good man I didn’t take it that way at all, and yeah they are definitely worth checking out
Most importantly for a hardcore/emo band. NO ALLEGATIONS.
@@MrBrownLostHisM00 true 😂😭
Met a guy once who asked if I knew Coheed. I said "yeah I've listened to them since high school and my hair looks like the lead singer's sometimes, haha" He then showed me his forearms - "Coheed" down one arm and "Cambria" down the other.. and proceeded to tell me all of the lore etc. He was a F.A.N. I assume he still is because who wouldn't be?
My god I LOVE Armor For Sleep. Another band that I think should've been bigger The Get Up Kids
Scott barnes was the original singer of the band and wrote the song you got playing then he quit and started 6feet under then they got Georg you explained nothing about the band they also kicked out the original guitarist and brought in Rob
When we where dating my wife told me she never heard of coheed before. I took her to see them once and now she is a super fan.
I got into them when they did their comeback and i loved the new style, strong concept and the music ofccc,Save Rock and Roll was my first album i ever listened to and im still obsessed
The original way it was supposed to be pronounced was Say-Ocean. I still say Sao-Sin
I always thought Pinkerton was a great album.
So much for stardust was an entire redemption arc turned into an album
Good choice to not be with her Jessie... I hope.. 😊
Yeah, theater kid is the only era I like
I saw your other video on coheed and cambria. Dude you are awesome. I love converge and am just getting down with coheed. I got a friend who is getting me on a bunch of bands and converge and coheed were both on his list of big hitters along with Circa Survive, and Thursday.
also, just for fun, any thoughts on The Housemartins and where they went?
moz is litcherlly just vibing in his feels through a narrator, like he really wanted to be the manchester dylan with his story-based lyrics, he makes fun of himself and i really do feel that they were very crafted by producers, morrissey's solo is his real creative stuff, and to write All of it off is C r a z y . Kill Uncle and Malajusted will always be somewhere up in my top 7, he didn't start losing it until the mid-late 00s, tell me what you think of Marr's solo stuff
I fucking love tool and especially maynard probably why im here😂
As a metal head I can say honestly that coheed and cambria are freaking awesome
don't ever compare this garbage to tool...
Got my first show in 8 days ill let you know how it goes
Dude of course she was the one. Two weeks later she was probably crowd surfing in the pit and planning her first keywork tat. That's the way it goes getting into Coheed - "Eww, I don't like her voice" turns into an addiction in about two weeks flat.
Just found out about them, they are absolutely amazing.
Ozzy reminds of the formula for the "clowns" like Screaming Lord Such hiring Ritchie Blackmore, Alice Cooper and Wagner (and the other great guitarists), DLR with EVH, Vai, etc., Marilyn Manson and John 5. the list continues...
@@alexanders562 accurate
I only knew of them from A Favor House Atlantic, but I met a girl a few years later and she had a bunch of their albums on burnt CDs. I listened to them and fell in love. 16 years later we're married with two kids.
@@kylepaup that's awesome, love that 😁
There new album is 🔥 🎸🤟 🐜
Imagine complaining that good bands like tool and ST songs are too long.... sorry you only have a 3 minute attention span. That being said i listened to a few songs and not impressed. I guess some people are.
Wym? I love coheed but Claudio does sound like a woman lol
Their new album, The Rain Museum, is actually pretty good. The song, whatever, who cares is a good return to form for an almost 20-year hiatus.
1000000% agree this album might be their best
Rumspringaaaahhh!!!
I always thought the Anti-Pop was their most regular album. But i re-listened to it recently and its phenomenal.
translating the name is the soundtrack to my life. <3
I never really understood why they were hated. I am glad to see that people are realizing that they aren’t a bad band. I’m 15 and I live in the countryside of Southern part of the Midwestern United States and I spent most of my life without the internet and without any real connection with society. I got my taste in music by listening to the music that my Dad played while I helped him with whatever we happened to be doing and the radio station that he listened to. It wasn’t until I was 13 until I got my first phone and with that my first easy access to social media so I didn’t know nothing about Nickelback being hated. It wasn’t until around that time when me and another guy were listening to music and Burn it to the Ground came on and the kid asked if it was Nickelback and when I said yes he looked at me with disgust and said that they’re trash and said nobody listens to them. It wasn’t clarified until I seen a video of a guy making fun of people who hate Nickelback and saying “You only hate Nickelback because it was cool to hate them in the 2010s.”
