Fishing boat Kingfisher II coming home after a day crabbing. Looks like a nice day but a steady off shore wind from the north west made it quite chilly and a little choppy out to sea.

I have seen a photo of Cadgwith Cove in a 1961 National Geographic magazine, and it looks very much the same today. Beautiful.

Two years later this video is recommended again, still worth the watch.
How do they get the boats back in the sea?
Watch this video and all will be revealed ua-cam.com/video/Cj08gJyKrJc/v-deo.html
The Cadgwith cove Inn is a fantastic place to stay, especially in winter, good beer and good food
Safely on the land. Clean-up crew are keeping busy.
❤super Barka
Nice. ❤
very interesting , 50 years old and never knew this was a thing
how do you get it back in the water ?
With the tractor. Here is a launch video I did last year. ua-cam.com/video/Cj08gJyKrJc/v-deo.html
Super footage of Porthleven Harbour. (The same way we spell Harbour here) Apparently, my g-g-grandfather came here from there.
Thanks. Makes a change from all the storm videos and pictures. Porthleven is about 10 miles from me.
I bet those tractors don't last long---salt water damage
Expertly done...
Serious bit of Kory on her
We work the same , here in beer only difference i can see is we use more greased timbers than you
Fine boat, pity they don't put a pontoon in the cove she can tie up alongside.
Very unpredictable seas around here and big tides to do that. have a look at this video and you will see what i mean. ua-cam.com/video/C4aTzepJ-wE/v-deo.html
A pontoon? One storm, boat and pontoon would be wreckage up the beach!
She's gotta stout keel she does..... aye she does indeed....the boat is nice too
Doesn't it get scratched, though?
Belo vídeo show de bola
Très ingénieux Bravo👏👏👍👍
How terrible my heart goes out.
What happened???
Very impressed with the number of fishing boats there serving a small community, fishing must be quite good, I know of places on the North Coast much bigger which have virtually lost their fishing fleet.
Belo vídeo show de bola um abraço aí
Wow nice
Those walkers looked like a Darwin Award about to happen.
i was at the back looking very serious it was pain because your feet hurt after a while
There was another fall about three years ago on the cliff below the Black Hut, on the seaward side, out of view from the Cove
1:00 no wharf , no problem Neat idea fer the hull, might have to do that to my boat? 🤔
Absolutely love seeing seals. Merry Christmas 🎅
That was a fairly prolonged and intense fight !! Wow. No wonder these birds end up losing eyes and feet.
Are you using a 4 stroke gas, what size engine and prop for your setup?
I like how the little ones swoop in and give a peck or two.
Love the old Cadgwith. Went recently there and into the 'fresh fish shop '. Asked what they had and they had spider Crab sandwiches. Asked what fish they had , to be told with a smile " don't sell fish my 'ansom " . Why don't you have a Crab sandwich ? . Found lots of fresh fish for sale in Tesco's in Helston. 😢
very nice model, was this built from a plan? Is it the loaded dice 3?
Dave built it from plan and had the foam wings cut for him. Not sure on the version but i'll ask him up the field next time.
Love Cadgwith so much!
Always lover the look of those canard aircraft had a glider version years ago but it didn't work that well still think it was a cog problem but killed it before I ever worked it out .
Brilliant emotional
Where is this at Cadgwith? I don't recognise the spot.
right hand side of little beach

Ancient Traditions... And the beat goes on.
Going all the way back to.....the 1930's.
Okay wow, that is totally disturbing. Goodness gracious. That is evolutionarily powerful.
I love the tiny boy at the front whose trombone is nearly as big as he is. Is he actually playing it?
Yes he was playing it
Yay ! Brilliant filming ! Thanks for sharing 💐🦋🌞
😂I’m in it
Went to Cadgwith cove last October. Fell in love with the place. Got to get back
Abone oldum.
Tebrik ederim. Güzel videolar, başarılar dilerim.
I know they like to get inside the limit but that's a bit keen
No idea why they are wearing kilts but there is some irony in the fact that the modern kilt was invented by an Englishman.
I think you’ll find that they are Cornish kilts.
@@seanfinlay6822 Historically did the Cornish wear kilts? Or is this some kind of 'Celtic Brotherhood' affectation?
@@Wotsitorlabart There is a some evidence. A woodcarving in Altarnun church estimated to be around 16th century interpreted as a man in a kilt. The earliest written evidence is from around 1900 but also some stories that the Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry wore black kilts but there is no firm evidence on that.
@@JustinDunstan I've had a look images of the late medieval Altarnun carvings which show a bagpiper. Now I'm no expert on men's clothing of the Middle Ages but look up 'cotehardie' and you will find something that looks very much like our Alternun piper's 'kilt'. Also, the modern kilt is an 18th century development making it even more unlikely our piper was wearing one. As I said - a 20th century Celtic Brotherhood affectation.
@@JustinDunstan Take a look at the late medieval Altarnun church carving of a bagpiper and then search 'cotehardie' - notice any similarities? And the modern kilt was only developed during the 18th century - so on that basic level trying to link the Cornish wood carving with the Scottish kilt is a nonsense. And, why would the DofCLI be wearing kilts? All this is clearly a 20th century attempt to create some kind of spurious link to a mythical 'Celtic' past.
Sorry to here that ..What caused her sinking.
