Mount Haggin // Anaconda, Montana

Mount Haggin sits eight miles south of Anaconda Montana. The 8.5 mile trail to the 10,601 foot summit climbs at 5,100 feet of elevation gain. It’s a steady hike for the first 5.5 miles, until you reach the beautiful banks of Hearst Lake. After traveling around the western bank of Hearst Lake, you will then be climbing the final 3 miles of scree fields, and steep inclines. The summit is breathtaking, and a great place to rest.
