How to knit the mock eyelet cable stitch. No cable needle!
It's not clear
@@wafaakd3544 what do you mean?:)
Hey 😊 do you have any tips for the neckline to be more stretchy? Unfortunately when I knitted the neckline on to the rest of the blouse it became ro small to pull it over the head.. thank you!
@@lh774 hmm, good question! I actually have to unravel the neckline of the sweater in this video because I can’t get it over his head anymore. I think I just need to cast on more stitches than what the pattern says. One thing to keep in mind is that if the actual neckline of the sweater is too small, it probably can’t be fixed without unraveling the whole sweater. I can’t think of any way to make the knitting more flexible without adding more stitches from the start. But I’ll think about it and get back to you if I come up with something clever!🥰
I wish someone had told me about swatching when I first started! All those sweaters that didn't fit!
Oh no, that's the worst! You definitely feel disappointed when you spend a lot of time, money, and effort on a sweater that does'nt fit. Hopefully, you also learn a lot from it! ❤️❤️
Thanks a lot! Your tips are useful, but the last one is the BEST😊!
Thank you so much for your nice comment🥰 I agree, having fun is the most important 🥳
You start by purling 3 … not knitting !!!!
@@paulsara5 No the edge is knitted in garter stitch, which means you knit on both sides. So no purls😊 Good luck!
God 👌🏻
Almost 😂😂 Its world champion in chess Magnus Carlsen 😃
Thank you for this video! ❤
@@LDav195 your welcome🥰 hope it helped!
Thank you so much for the underarm info regarding picking up the extra two stitches on either side of the pattern telling you to pick up (8 instead of the 4). I’m at that point and so confused. It’s my first sweater and I’m making a children’s one as well
You're welcome! So glad i could help🥰 Hope your sweaters turnes out lovely🥰❤️
I really like your style and recommendations. What have you been up to knitting wise 2023? Greetings from Berlin :)
Thank you so much:) 2023 has been a bad knitting year actually. Pregnancy and birth took a lot of my knittingtime🙈 But hoping 2024 goes better! Knitting on the Zippersweater for my man now. Maby I'll make a video about it! 🥰
I just found you today and watched all of your podcasts. I love it and hope that you will be posting more. I did have a comment about the double Sunday yarn. The outfit was so cute I know you must’ve been terribly disappointed in how it behaved. I went to Ravelry and looked at the yarn and it has such an incredibly high rating, that is so weird. Did you call the company and tell them what happened?
Thank you so much for your nice comment! I know it is so weird. Everybody loves Petiteknit (me included), but can people be too forgiving regarding this yarn? When i posted a story on Instagram I got a lot of comment saying they too experienced a lot of pilling with this yarn. So I am not alone. I have not contacted the company, I know pilling can be worse on some people than other. Maby this is just not the yarn for me! :)
Love this video format and your sweater turned out lovely
Thank you so much🥰 maby I should make more videos like this one😊
I had the same experience with Double Sunday pilling/linting. Super soft but not a fan of the quality!
I know! Guess I also had some higher expectations because its Petiteknits yarn. But I have never experienced this crazy amount of pilling/linting! 😬
Thank you for giving such a straightforward review. Very useful.
So glad you found it useful! Thank you:)
Try a sweater stone, sanding block, or scotch pad.
Wow never heard of a sweater stone. Had to google a bit and it looks really interesting! Never thought about using a sanding block on my knits but I will try it. I have nothing to loose🙈 Thank you! ❤️
I have knitted 4 Ankers cardigans for baby gifts and I love the pattern. The pullover version would be even quicker to knit...I'd like to try that pattern now that you've inspired me☺ This was a great video and I hope to see more of your knits!
Thank you to much! So fun that I can inspire🥰 I will post more videos, hopefully soon😊
Love this pattern. Just finished the Anker Tee and have knitted the Anker dress. Great podcast. I like to hear other knitters opinions on their knitting.
Thank you so much 🥰 Ankers is such a fun pattern to knit!
Your favourite is mine too, well done!
Thank you so much 🥰 working on the Ingrid sweater now. It might be a new favorite 😃
So beautiful! Love these delicate works of art! ❤️❤️
Wow thank you so much! 🥰❤️❤️
Absolutely beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much 🥰
Beautiful!👌🏻
Thank you 🥰
You should publish the cable knit pattern! Very nice!
Thank you! Maby I can! I have it written down somewere🙈
very beautiful sweaters! would love to see the other ones too(: I´m curious to know what you think of the holst supersoft -would you say its "rustic" yarn? I'm thinking about buying some cones but I´m more so used to really commercial, soft yarn like Drops.
Maby I can show some more sweaters? I do have some beautiful sweater that I never wear and some Norwegian traditional knits:) yes the Holst supersoft is a more rustic yarn. But I am not sensitive to itchi wool. And I always wash the garments two times before use, because it gets a lot softer after wssh:) I actully have used it for a jacket for my boy when he was 6 months old and he was not bothered eather:) And there are so many beautiful colors to choose from! Hope I answered your question:)
@@myoldsoul Thank you!!((:
Love your sweaters! So beautiful colors
