No problem, I finally found another transcription. The only problem is that includes the voice too and I was more interested in a version like yours. Still fighting regularly with it😂 But great job anyway, I am totally unable to hear chords. I can find a melody but harmonic chords are just my personal hell. Hope you'll keep on your videos, it is pretty motivating 😊

@@ottagirl Thanks. Yea, I also never liked to play the covers with the vocal lines, like some people do. I basically alway try to approach it like "how would I play this If i had to perform this live with a band". I'm not great with hearing chords either, but chordify usually helps quite a lot with that. I might do some more Nightwish songs... probably from the new album. I've already learnt bunch of them (The Day Of..., Perfume Of The Timeless, today I started learning Spider Silk and I'm planning few more more still) , but I still don't know whether I should do tutorials like this, or covers like I did with The Day Of... or some of the Within Temptation songs lately, cause that's bit more enjoyable to do than editing MIDI notes tbh 😀

@@xvobuk9742 lol, i definitely understand that editing MIDI file is not the most exciting task. I really enjoyed this one, though. Thank you for mentioning Chordify. I hav no idea what it is, which will probably be fun to discover :) Keep on doing what you like and listening to good music. Thanks again for sharing, it really is a big help for newbies like me :)

Sorry, I don't have the sheet music, i figured this out partly by ear, partly from other people's covers 😕 But the song is pretty simple, so it shouldn't be problem to figure it out from the midi file or the video if you slow it down.

Thank you. Well, if I'm being honest most of their songs are over my level, especially the ones with solos or some neoclassical shredding. I'm also not like totally die hard fan but I might do some more in the future.

thanks, well I remember I watched some live performances while doing this one and this is how Janne played it in some of them (for example in Wacken 2018), I just didn't transpose it

What's the right key ? I feel like Bb major / Gminor ?

It's in right key, A minor. Bodom on this album is drop tuned, if remember correct it's D-tuning. That's why the diffrence. If you play your normal E-tuned instrument you will be in the same box with album by playing in G minor.

What exactly do you mean by that? off time, off key (which it definitely isn't), do the chords sound wrong, or something else?

@@xvobuk9742 eh, I meant the chords in the chorus sound a bit off-key to me, though that might Just be the composition and lack of vocals playing a joke on my ears lol Lemme check again

​@@caffeineandnicotine5882 Oh, you mean the chorus like the choir sound, yeah, I can definitely hear that too, that's just issue with the stock synthesia sounds I think, some of them sound pretty bad sometimes :D

​@@caffeineandnicotine5882 Sometimes, I used FL studio with some free plugins for the first two Within Temptation tutorials but for this one I just used midi editor to create the file, and then recorded both the visuals and sound from synthesia. With the first two tutorials I had to sync the visuals from synthesia with the sound from FL studio but here I was too lazy to do that.
